East Side Hawks have been issued an Official Warning under 6B for an incorrect player signing under 4D. The East Side Hawks submitted a squad with rookie Giant Strides listed as a rookie signing as at the squad submission deadline 11.59pm Saturday 27th January 2024, AWST. At this deadline, Giant Strides had not yet posted as stated under 4D

4D) Free Agency

Off-Season

Free agency occurs between seasons from the earlier of; the elimination of your team from finals or the conclusion of the grand final to squad submission date. Free agents may only be signed with permission. Player movement between clubs is unrestricted with permission of the player. The onus is on the club that is making the signing to be able to, upon request, present evidence of the permission being granted within the free agency period. Instances where a signing is disputed or there is no public evidence of the player's commitment to the club can be subject to such requests.

Players who are new to the league signed during the offseason are required to make a post on the main Sweet FA forum confirming their participation with their club before officially being added to the squad.

Mount Buller Demons have been issued an Official Warning under 6B for an incorrect squad change under 4B. The Mount Buller Demons submitted a squad with Truetiger listed as an IN, but not listed in the actual player list at the squad submission deadline 11.59pm Saturday 27th January 2024, AWST.



4B) Squad Changes

Any changes to the previous season's final squad must be listed in the current season's initial squad submission denoting the additions as "INs" and subtractions as "OUTs".

If a change is required to a team list for any addition or subtraction it must be noted in a post in the current season's squad submission thread.

The change must include alteration to both the player list, and the list of any additions ("Ins") and subtractions ("Outs")

Roys FFC have been issued an Official Warning under 6B for an incorrect squad change under 4B. The Roys submitted a squad with an incorrectly named player.



A typographical error inadvertently saw the wrong player named in the initial squad. This has been noted and corrected by Roys management.

5A) Submission Rules

The deadline for team sheet submission is the Thursday 11:59 PM Western Australia Time before a match unless stated otherwise by the Administrator

Team sheets must be displayed in a logical format that is comprehensible by the game simmers. Each positional line {e.g. B, HB, C, HF, F, FOLL, INT} must be defined clearly and in case of positional changes the specific positions must be communicated in the listed changes. The only acceptable format is:

B: BP / FB / BP
HB: HBF / CHB / HBF
C: W / C / W
HF: HFF / CHF / HFF
F: FP / FF / FP
FOLL: RU / RR / RO
INT: INT / INT

As this is a second minor offence, Roys team captain Mobbs will be suspended for one game in Round 2, and be eligible for team selection again from Round 3 onwards

Baghdad Bombers captain Pugsley has been given an official warning under 6B for an incorrect team sheet submission under 5B. The Bombers submitted a teamsheet with an ineligible player, with SaintsSeptember receiving a 3 week ban, therefore not being eligible to play. There was approximately 9hrs between the ban being listed in the suspensions thread and this weeks deadline, more than ample time to make an adjustment.

• Failing to satisfy the minimum team list requirement in season (20 eligible players) as per 4A
• Failure to submit a complete team sheet in the submission thread by the deadline as per 5A
• Editing the team sheet after team sheet deadline as per 5A
• Deliberately hindering the simulation team through disregard of 5A, 5B and/or 5C.
• Deliberately naming a player that is deemed ineligible as per 5B

As per the rules, a random generator selected omgfridge as the one to accept the punishment.

The Fighting Furies FFC have been issued an Official Warning (6B Minor Offence) for an incorrect team sheet formatting per 5A. The Furies submitted a team sheet with the incorrect round number listed for their Round 14 match against Coney Island Warriors.

There is precedence where an incorrect round number is considered a minor offence. An innocent error saw the Furies' James Colorado submit a team sheet with the wrong round number (and opponent) listed. This was realised and updated immediately on Friday post-deadline.

Though James Colorado did in fact edit the team sheet post after the deadline, which would normally be a Major Offence, there will be no charge laid against the club for doing so. The edit made to the Team Sheet would have been the immediate advice of Sweet FA administration. Though it was pre-emptively made, it was done so in the best interests of the simmers themselves by including the correct round number and opposition as listed and not done so maliciously. This abides by the spirit of the team sheet formatting rule to ensure that the simmers are able to effectively complete their job without impediment. As this would have been the immediate instruction to the Furies, there will be no charge for editing the team sheet post due to no edits being made to the actual team sheet itself.

On another note, a notice will be sent to all Sweet FA clubs via the committee regarding the unique upcoming round numbers which may cause confusion and enable opportunity for error among team sheet posters.
