Here is what happened.

West Tippett

Sturt Lee

Norwood Rodan

Glenelg Boak

Port Krakouer

South McKay

North Grose

CD Williams

Eagles Batsanis

West Gray

Sturt Hardy

I'll admit I wanted a MacKay so I could keep a close eye on him, but picking Rodan is a smart move IMO. He shouldn’t play too many games for the Power this season so hopefully we can get someone who can contribute significantly for Norwood. We’ve lost two midfielders during the off-season so Rodan should be a good replacement.

If Meesen Pfeiffer Campbell and Rodan all play AFL this year, Norwood will be in a tight spot:D :

who the ******** are Lee and Hardy?

Lee was taken in the rookie draft by Port... He was really really highly rate last year, but he hasn't really come on. He was touted as at least a top 20 if not top 10 chance but he was very average this year but Port took a punt on him, most likely on his 2005 form. His 2006 form definately didn't warrant a rookie selection even.

I'll take Boak. Boak as a replacement for Gibbs will be a slight step down, but shouldn't really make too much difference. I highly doubt he will play much, at least in the first half the year with the PAPS.

Well I hope you are wrong & Boak doesn't play for the Bays much next year. If he is a top 5 pick in that draft I would be disappointed if he played majority of the year in the SANFL.

Would have loved to see him (Boak) at the Maggies but will take Krakouer :)

Krakoeur is very skilful, very clever, and should be a good player at AFL level - but at this stage he's built like a praying mantis - he is really skinny and light although not short.

Krakoeur is a good selection by the Magpies IMO because he's likely to be there for a year or two before cracking AFL.

Yeah that sounds about right macca, i think thats why North chose Grose (obviously selections are limited by that stage though) because he is a defender and thats what we are a little short on.

There were no draftees with previous SANFL connections this time eh?

Just wondering if anyone knows if Trent Sporn might going back to Norwood.

I haven't heard anything for a while, there was minor discussion about North being an outside chance a while back but haven't heard much else about that. His uncle was a decent player for us.

A bit unfair in relation to his 2006 form

He did no preseason for 2006 as he did a patella tendon injury, that injury scared a few potential clubs, but Port took a chance on him, pity, I'd have preferred him still here to watch.
