Bye Glenelg

Darren Pfeiffer is named on the wing for Norwood, Kris Massie in the centre, and Bryce Campbell is ruck rover. Ivan Maric is named on the interchange for the Magpies.

Greg Gallman will once again line-up in defence for North Adelaide, and Nick Gill will play his first senior game of the season.

• In Sunday’s game, Ken McGregor will once again play for the Eagles, Rhys Archard will play for South while rookie James Turner is back in the reserves after a quiet game last week. David Mackay isn't playing at either level.

Kurt Tippett is out of West Adelaide's team due to a shoulder injury, while John Hinge will make his return from a hamstring injury with the Bloods reserves because Glenelg has the bye.

Wouldnt it be sweet if SANFL was on channel 9, on friday nights maybe, instead of watching St Kilda play every week, get to see a bit of local talent.

I have a newspaper from 1987 after North won the grand final, and the first 5 pages were devoted to teh game, haha. God these days they get 1 page if there lucky.

Why would Tippett not be playing this weekend. I saw him play for West Adelaide last week and he did injure his shoulder in the second quarter but come back on in the second half and played the majority of the second half. He didnt seem to have any problem with his shoulder at all in the second half so why is he playing this weekend.

Why isnt Sellar playing. Didnt the crows say he was available for this weekend. I know Glenelg has the bye but why isnt he playing reserves for another sanfl club this weekend.

Why isnt Mackay playing?

To me it sounds like the crows are being very very cautious with the players with injuries. Too cautious.

To be honest, I'm glad Glenelg have a bye coz I would be happy to see Jimmy have an extra week off just to be safe.

So now its a bad thing?

Theres nothing wrong with being cautious but Sellars injury was originally meant to be 1-2 week injury which has turned into a 6-7 week injury. Mackays injury was meant to be 1-2 weeks as well and once again this has turned out to be a 4-5 week injury. I just get the feeling when the player is ready to come back from injury the crows give them another 2 weeks before they play them.

Jimmy has looked amazing on the track this week. Did anyone else go out and watch... his movement in the forward was fantastic to the point where he was outshining the other forwards. Just something i notcied...

****ing hell, control post of the play in the first half a bit yet get flogged

of Crow players

Gill took some great marks but his kicking was ****ing average
Gallman was great first half but got found out a bit 2nd half, looks to have a good future though as hes still a young, inexperienced lad
