Hi guys and girls, here's to a hopefully a great game of footy on Saturday. Got our tickets and looking forward to coming over for the game. Sitting in the nose bleed section of the Southern Stand.

Looking forward to the following key matchups:

- Brogan/Lade v Fraser/Rocca
- Tredrea v Presti... (I think he will get 1st crack)
- Paxman/Bishop v Tarrant

Dangerman for both clubs:
Pies
- Licuria, Woewodin and O'Bree... with Buckley and Burns most likely heavily tagged I suspect 1 or 2 of these players might pick up the slack and have a good game.
- Rocca or Fraser when up forward... I think we will cover Tarrant ok but Fraser might hurt when dropping forward or Rocca from outside 50 with a big home crowd.

Power
- Dew and Schofield... both have been a bit down of late and are due for big games, Pies might concentrate more on P. Burgoyne and Stevens.
- Tredrea... expect him to play out of the square again this game with the 50 arc cleared out, umpires are picking up defenders for scragging in the finals this year and Tredrea benefited against the Bombers.
- Pickett... relishes the big stage and creates doubt in the opposition players minds.

All the best for the game.

Fair summary except that:
1. Very few sides are able to contain Tarrant
2. We have such depth in our midfield even if you cover 2 or 3 someone else is running free.
3. Our back 6 are very good and prevent sides from kicking big scores.

Yes, well I don't know if you'd noticed either, but

1. Very few sides are able to contain the AA CHF in Tredrea. Especially in current form. One of your guys has played well on him before, but don't think it will always happen.

2. Port has the most midfield depth in the comp.

3. Our defence was ranked no. 1 over the home and away. Against Essendon, Lloyd was held either goaless (or he might have kicked one), and no other foward could get into the game.

I'm not confident of a win, just pointing out there is another side to this, sonny Jim.

1. Presti has done very well on Tredrea the last few games. I'm more worried about your small forwards.

2. I disagree - I think our midfield is much better and has more options.

3. Both backlines are very good...very stingy...although I think the keys are how our small defenders go minding Pickett, the Burgers, Dew, Cockatoo Collins and co..and how your key backmen hold Rocca and Tarrant. I think Taz is due to give Paxman a pasting on the bigger MCG ground.

Exept for Hawthorn, they had no damn trouble what so ever, Smith put his hand up and he destroyed Tarrant on the day...

Tredrae will be very hard to match up on, Maybee Jimmy will get the job

As for ins and out i think there will be one change Holland in for BK or Walker although Williams and shaw should also be dropped you really should't drop any one at this stage of the year so Balme will say """Yeah, look you know it's like this, PLAYER X has a slight hamstring strain and won't be playing this week*** about who ever gets dropped for Holland
