CARLTON’S Heath Scotland says it was a “massive relief” to have ended the Blues’ losing streak with a 23-point win over Collingwood.
“It was definitely a massive relief,” Scotland told SEN.
“We’d been in positions where we could have won against Richmond and Essendon so to get off the mark was fantastic.”
“… We wanted to pressure Collingwood …”
Scotland, who played in two Grand Finals as a Collingwood player, said it was probably the best performance he has been involved in as a Carlton player since becoming a Blue at the end of 2003.
Scotland said the Blues midfielders are playing an important part in strengthening the side’s backline.
