Played very good, good decision making, good pace, good tackling and intensity and he used the ball well. Looks to be settling in.

Yeah was quite handy today, reliable shot on goal when he's up forward too by the looks of things which is nothing to snort at. I'm not sure how much time he spent on the ground today, but what really impressed me is that rather than go missing, he actually started to find the ball more as the game went on.

Can't do any harm being the youngest brother of the top footballing family of today.

Newspaper reports on him before he got drafted said he was the best of the lot.

Joel has proven to be better than the twins, no reason why that trend can't continue with Scott.:thumbsu:

Does anyone know why he didnt play more earlier in the year, wasn't on th injury list and has looked more than comfortable in the 5 games he's played so far..?

at the start of the year i heard that he wouldnt play much cause of his scholling (year 12).. . i guess that could be one reason why he didnt play... otherwise i have no idea :)

Just me, or does he look really quick? Loving the look of little Selwood, we're building a nice midfield for the future. :thumbsu:

Gonna be very good for us. 18 so still young and only going to get better.
My question is what is going on with Troy Selwood at Brisbane. Can't get a game recently. Is he injured or what?
Could we possibly have 3x Selwoods next year:eek:
I'd like to see that:D

If we can get Troy, we'd be a chance at getting Joel too!

The mouth waters and the mind boggles...!:D

I doubt Brissy would go for it..

Trading is all about winning and losing though, someone's got to lose something.. I think we lost enough last year!

No way...commentators would hate it. All four are like peas out of the same pod. :D

Selection comittee would never know which one did what.

They're all guns! It wouldn't matter, it'd make it easier for us too.. "kick it to selwood!" "oh well done selwood!"

Of course all of this is only fanciful thinking, there's no way Geelong would let that kid go, he looks like the future beyond Gazza and Jimmy.

It'd be like us trading out Ebert or Masten.

Loving watching Scooter play.

His older brothers are all running machines...are they looking to give him a more permanent midfield role in the next couple of years? I think he looks best suited to a hard running/physical line breaking position in the back line. He seems to know how to find the gaps (looks like he has good foot work).

Woot for getting him at pick 22 or whatever...lots of upside with him :D

Will give you the tip, he isn't the best of the lot. As far as under 18's go, he was no where near as good as Joel and i'd say he would be on par with Adam and Troy.
Joel is easily the best of the lot, and anyone from Bendigo will agree with that. It was just a rumour going around that the 4th brother was the best. and believe me, i'm not here to bag him out, but to say he was anywhere near as good as joel is a joke. and i bet he'd be the first to admit it.

At this time and probably in the future, joel will probably be better, but joel is very ready made, he is already playing really well but doesnt have much scope for improvement. Scott has a lot of scope for improvement, and seems to be a hybrid between joel (classy) and the twins (gut running, hard nose, defensive). Far too early to accurately assess their future quality, but by a guess i would say that scott will probably be better than the twins but a bit behind joel. Apparently adam rates scott to be the one with the most potential out of joel, scott and troy.
