I played 11 seasons between S20-S30 in the SFA before initially retiring.

The likes of por_please_ya and The Jesus were rookies in the SFA in S25 when I was in my first season as admin.

They’ve now played for longer than I did in my first stint and I’m still admin.

I’m good now.

But in seasons 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 I was bloody elite. You just missed it Kennedy Parker.

5 seasons of pure dominance. Revolutionised the media landscape. Was the first proper ‘news breaker’ and was the first to coin a media empire, Okeydoke Media (copied now by most) and later, briefly, Sweet FA Media - a terrific concept which some saw good moments but fizzled as our activity dropped a little.

It was in these seasons that my Sweet FA identity was forged, and I moved from young upstart, a serial agitator, to THE top dog of the league. Media, match thread posting, antagonising at times, qooty focused at other times. A hostile takeover of a club as I pulled the swings, a club captaincy, a 3 season reign as administrator which saw sweeping changes which made the league what it is today.

I had lots more time on my hands back then. Wasn’t working full time. Didn’t have children. Etc.

But what a 5 seasons it was. Really will go down as the greatest 5 season stretch by any poster in the league’s history.

And I’m not immortal - mainly because I talk myself up so much that others become tired of my incredible achievements - undervaluing them.

Look at what I’ve done compared to say Tarks when he was made immortal - it’s actually incredible that it was allowed to occur. But popularity means more, and the persona I have carefully crafted which encapsulates the beauty of this league has worked against me.

Today, in the raniest of conditions, I will stand up and lead the Swamprats to a much needed victory in another CV worthy performance.
 
The Swamprats have brought me back to life. I care about the league again, and I love it again.

I’m well and truly back in the match threads, though my league wide presence and media is nowhere close to what it was.

Plus I don’t post in the club room. And unfortunately people confuse that for being part of the Sweet FA. Reputations are forged there, popularity stems from there. My 25th (I think) placing in the beez was a minor miracle given I have no presence there at all.
