It had been one hundred years since the last sighting of a phoenix, and the people of the western Sweet had all but forgotten the legend of the mythical creature. That is, until one day when great and powerful phoenixes suddenly appeared in the sky.
The phoenixes, MP_ (164 disposals, 57 tackles, 12 goals), Rankine2Rachele (169 disposals, 54 tackles, 6 goals) and Itsmyshow (69 disposals, 6 tackles, 44 goals) flew across western Sweet, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. It swooped down to the ground and destroyed villages, farms, and cities alike. Nothing could stand in its way.
The people of Western Sweet were in shock. No one knew how to fight the phoenixes, and many feared that it would never be defeated.
Western Sweet was at a loss. They had no idea what to do about the phoenixes. They sent out troops to try to contain the beast but to no avail.
Finally, they called upon a group of brave adventurers to take on the phoenixes. This group of adventurers was led by powerful Wonders, who had been studying the phoenixes for years. While they were going solo, solo, they were determined to not go down didi-down down down.
The wonders, DenieD (88 disposals, 13 tackles, 53 goals, =10th in the Mobbs Predictor), ClarkeM (173 disposals, 44 tackles, 8 goals) and HARPSichord (176 disposals, 30 tackles, 10 goals) managed to track down the phoenixes and battle it in an epic battle. In the end, the wonders managed to use a powerful spell to capture the phoenixes and bind them in a magical prison.
The phoenixes were finally defeated, and the people of western Sweet were able to return to their peaceful lives. The legend of the phoenixes was remembered, but only in stories and tales.
Captains, team sheets are to be correctly submitted by 11:50 pm on Thursday the 26th of October 2023 according to AWST time.
