Game day bitches.

The Fall of the Phoenix
In the heart of the East side, a football club named the Phoenix once blazed with pride and promise. Their captains, thewizardmelon and por_please_ya, were known for their indomitable spirit and leadership. Yet, this tale isn't one of triumph, but of an unexpected descent into darkness.

The Phoenix had their share of challenges, none greater than the enigma that was Drunkgoliath. The name said it all—his skills stumbled, his shots wavered, and he often appeared more at home with a mug of ale than a ball at his feet. Despite his ineptitude, the team embraced him as one of their own, for his heart was in the right place.

@Redmist, a once-shining star, vanished from the team's ranks. Rumors circulated that he had met his end, but the truth was stranger—Redmist faked his own death to escape the pressures of stardom and expectations that had weighed him down. The team mourned the loss of their once-brilliant player, unaware that he lived.

The Phoenix, struggling since they shed their name as the East Side Hawks, faced humiliation against the Sin City Swamprats. The Swamprats boasted a league-dominating lineup, led by legends like The Jesus, Kennedy Parker, Rodney Dangerfield, and philreich. Their unparalleled skills cast a shadow over the Phoenix's efforts.

The fateful match arrived, a clash between titans and underdogs. The Swamprats toyed with the Phoenix, passing the ball effortlessly, making plays that seemed almost magical. Despite thewizardmelon and por_please_ya's best efforts, the Phoenix found themselves outmatched, outplayed, and outscored.

As the final whistle blew, the scorecard confirmed the inevitable—victory belonged to the Sin City Swamprats. The Phoenix, once a symbol of fire and rebirth, were now ashes, crushed by their opponents' superior abilities. The defeat stung like a scar, and their performance in that match would echo in the annals of the league's history.

With heavy hearts, the Phoenix were dubbed the worst team to have ever graced the Sweet FA. Their fall from grace was complete, and their dreams of redemption lay shattered. The East side mourned the loss of their team's former glory, and the once-proud captains, thewizardmelon and por_please_ya, struggled to find solace in the aftermath.

The story of the Phoenix serves as a reminder that even the mightiest can falter, and sometimes, the odds are stacked too high. Yet, in the face of such adversity, the human spirit endures. The tale of their downfall would become a cautionary legend, teaching future generations that no name change or disguise can hide the truth—sometimes, even the mightiest fall, only to rise again in unexpected ways.

What happened to okeydokes 1-6 ?
Actually, there was okeydoke1 all the way through to okeydoke456.

We played a series of extreme elimination games. The loser of each game died.

It continued until 1 was left to claim the prize - Sweet FA Glory. okeydoke7 reigned supreme.

Wow don't even know your other captain.

Or, I may have read your team thread wrong?

I think it's the first one.
Team has two co-captains, I am in the leadership group but definitely not a captain.
