GAME#110 - GRAND FINAL#2 for larrikin but first as a EAST SIDE HAWK - Wally Centre of Excellence (Waverly Park)

The West Coast Wonders travel to Waverley park to take on the East Side Hawks who are undoubtedly the favourite to take out the match. The Hawks were the dominate side all year finishing 5 games clear of the Wonders. The winner of this match will be forever in the record books as the Season 12 Premiers, the title that all 8 teams were chasing, but only one can catch. Can the Hawks who lost just the 2 matches during the season break the voodoo and be the first team to finish on top of the ladder and win the premiership in the same season?
Or will it be the Wonders that who claim premiership glory?

The first of 2 MOTR encounters this season saw East Side come out on top against a disappoitning Wonders outfit.
Biggie was the stand out collecting 28 disposals and 5 marks, whilst Tarkyn booted 5 goals. The Wonders stand out was Shallow with 11 Hit Out's and 23 touches.

East Side Hawks 16.9 105 def. West Coast Wonders 10.5 65

In the Round 11 MOTR this season the Hawks came out victorious against a galant Wonders side.
Boncer starred for the Hawks gathering 28 disposals and 2 goals whilst on the other side of the card Postmanpav picked up 30 disposals and 5 marks for his efforts.

East Side Hawks 16.14 110 def. West Coast Wonders 12.13 85

Perhaps fitting that these two teams meet on the biggest stage of them all, after the biggest move of the off season transpired between them. Gun on baller Kerrby made a shock announcment that he has leaving the Wonders to go join the experianced Hawks outfit. Stating that he could no longer play alongside the one they call Pacemaker.
The Wonders then picked up Marklar_33, a hard nut from the House of Gumby. In recent times things have heated up between the two players it seemed a rivalry was brewing.

There are big match ups all over the ground as the two stand out Full Forwards of the season Croweater_41 and Tarkyn_24 are sitting at both ends of the ground.
Frothies Mcveigh has been in ripping form of late for the Wonders and Postmanpav always gives his absolute best effort of the wing, both players will play a big part in the outcome of the match.
The Captain of the Hawks Biggie will but heads with the talented Wonders centreman ClarkeM. The reigning Mobbenfurhrer medallist and current SFA admin Boncer34 has had another stellar season leading the competition in numerous stats. If the Wonders can limit his impact then they are a good chance to win. Hawks1523 is another East Side midfielder to watch, in the past has shown the ability to tear game wide open. SFA legend and the Wonders very own EKA will no doubt come out and do whatever he can to assure that the team he loves so dearly come out victorious.

Ladies and Gentleman plonk yourself in your spinny computer chair, grab a bag of popcorn and a few beers and prepare yourself for what promises to be one of, if not THE biggest Grand Final the SFA has ever seen.
Hold on tight, it's gonna be a bumpy ride.​

Ladies and gentlemen welcome to this live coverage of the Season 12 SFA Grand Final. Today we have two sides who have both followed different paths to the big dance. Firstly we'll look at the Hawks, they've been in super form all year dropping just two games although those games were both against the bottom placed teams of the time proving that if they aren't switched on then they are certainly vulnerable. One thing you notice when you look at the Hawks teams is that it is full of big names. Biggie, Boncer, Wally, Tarkyn, Kerrby, Frankston Rover etc. all of them are big names in their own right although some have gone missing of late. Despite this star studded line up the Hawks have never won the coveted premiership and have been decidedly shakey in Grand Finals losing the only two they have competed in.
The Wonders however took the long road to the Grand Final and for them today is all about erasing the memories of last seasons loss to the Furies. Late in the Home and Away season the Wonders were far from guaranteed a finals place but as become their tradition they showed incredible grit to secure their finals berth before dispatching of the Demons in the Elimination final before upsetting the Gumbies in last weeks preliminary final. The wonders list is also very impressive, boasting players like CE41, ClarkeM, Rick18, Shallow and Frothies the Wonders are confident they can match it with the Hawks today and they know that the pressure is all on the Hawks, Wonders captain CE41 will no doubt have been implenting the idea in his players head that if they can get the jump then the Hawks will start to remember their previous failures.
All in all it should be a wonderful match, lets head down to the ground for the final teams and the national antheme.

So those are the final teams, CE41 has resisted change instead backing the team that got the Wonders into the Grand Final. There was rumours he may have thrown hardened veteran Rick18 onto the ball just to try and get an edge in the middle but it appears he has resisted. Biggie not suprisingly has sent in an unchange Hawks team to, personally I doubt he could even remember the 20 blokes on his team to make changes even if he wanted to.

Players to watch are the interesting one, obviously the midfields will go a long way to determing the result. Especially Larrikan and Shallow, the two big men have been the best ruckmen of the season and the winner of this dual will go a long way to determing the result. Another interesting battle will be the shoot out between CE41 and Tarkyn_24, the two premier full forwards stand at opposite ends today with CE41 knowing he HAS to kick straight if the Wonders are to win.

As we wait for the antheme to be sung the interest is on who will sing it... as predicted earlier it is BILLY RAY CYRUS who has rode into the arena on a shetland pony and it appears the Roys players have put bat wings on the poor pony!!!!

These pricks are starting to feel the pressure lets stick it right up them and come out and bury them this quarter LETS DO THIS WONDERS!!!" Biggie seems to be more angry then anything else and this is what he had to say, "We've ****ing owned this comp all season DO NOT play another half like that, we should be 10 goals up. HARD AT THE BALL, HARD AT THE MAN and for ****s sake when you get within 50 KICK THE ****ING GOAL!! LETS GO HAWKS"
The crowd is almost at fever pitch here, this shapes up as a titantic second half, both teams seemed fired up after the break. This one could turn into a fiery contest.
