Okay so…. WFNL won the battle of who’s got the best B graders? Neither team fronted anywhere near their strongest, looks like most SFNL sides have players in that top 3 - 6 bracket representing them. Still looked to be a good day out and a bit of harmless fun. I can guarantee you that no one is losing sleep over the fact SFNL lost by 2 goals to Western. It’s good promotion for both leagues and gives players great exposure. I wasn’t at the game but looking at photos and videos the crowd looked light on compared to the RSEA interleague last year. Don’t think the baysiders like to travel 
Southern can either try entice the better players by offering $500ish cash for all players (sponsor?) or keep plugging away at it. Personally, I’d much prefer to have a player who is willing to play for passion than a bloke who couldn’t give a rats arse about it.
I’ve enjoyed the recent interleague encounters. Last 2 years were incredible matches…. Short term memory can be a funny thing. Hope it goes ahead next year with a new opponent. Can we get a Southern Interleague V VAFA prem B/C game? That would settle some raging debates in here!
