they and their crowd were no better in the 2sHard fought contest between Highett and CH but an epic finish with the winning Highett goal sailing through the big sticks as the final siren went, sending Bulldog fans delirious and rightly so. Multiple lead changes, with neither side able to master the tricky breeze. CH seriously need to have a good look at themselves, resorting to continuous behind the play hits and headbutting - that sort of rubbish belongs in the EDFL second division.

Great win by Highett, but these comments are totally false! Game played in good spirit, with Highett proving they are a top, young, slick team! Most of their list coming through the juniors!Hard fought contest between Highett and CH but an epic finish with the winning Highett goal sailing through the big sticks as the final siren went, sending Bulldog fans delirious and rightly so. Post them here for all to view, then there's no he said/ she said.Attended the venue, watched the 2nd half ressies match then the seniors all the way until the final siren - took pics and video clips. The camera doesn't lie champ. CH conducted themselves in a similar manner against Highett earlier in the year. A decent portion of their list are absolute grubs and some of their fans are for the tip. There's a clear difference between playing hard and taking pot shots behind the play.

I'm hearing the return of Chris Carey may have to be the white knight. He'd be getting on in age now thoughAnother wasted season at the Zoo.
East Malvern may see a large exodus of players after a very disappointing end to the season. As they say bad kicking is bad football.
Its always surprised me that they haven't recruited from the glut of VAFA sides within a stones throw of DW Lucas. Some players would easily be swayed with a little coin and most likely run rings around the opposition.
Back to being also rans stuck in no mans land of Div 2.
Very true, God Yeah. There are plenty of ex-East Malvern juniors running around in VAFA teams like Old Caulfield Grammar reserves that would destroy SNFL Div 2 footy. Not sure why EM don't try and entice them home.
Possibly, but the wrong way to go about it.I'm hearing the return of Chris Carey may have to be the white knight. He'd be getting on in age now though
Hearing playing assistant coachPossibly, but the wrong way to go about it.
Influx of youth (18-25) will be the only thing that gets East Malvern back into the top flight.
Any real reason for the 2 quarter start? Highett have seemed to play a fair bit of catch up footy this season.Highett had no answer to Hampton Park's ruckman. He is a jet. When you give the other team a 2 quarter head start, its a tough slog.
He played well king he’s actually there second ruckman Hawkin’s was out injured today so he did most of it he usually plays back forward and chops out Hawkins as the second ruckmanHighett had no answer to Hampton Park's ruckman.
