JJ was outstanding. The reason we won that comeback game against the Kangaroos in 01 was becoz of him.

He is an awesome player. I love watching him inn that game. One highlight is when the gets the tap from the ruckman and just sprints through the middle of the forward line only to hit the post. The commentator goes "Jason Johnson kicks a maaaagnificent... point."

yeah it was hutchy lol
but my fav goal from that game is we are 21 points down and JJ gets the handball from Barnard i think and he runs right through the guts of the G and runs all the way into 50 and drills it low and hard for a goal to put us 15 points down. The crowd reaction that day was fantastic

Man what a game that was. Lloydy kicked 9, but it seemed like he only kicked 4. That 2nd quarter was phenomonal. Remember when Spider roved that throw in and kicked the goal at the start of the 2nd quarter?

Another Goal that sticks in my mind also is when Blakey Caracella kicked a goal on the right half forward flank down at the Ponsford end as we were making our way back into the game. JJ handballed out to Hirdy and Hirdy gave the hands to Blakey and it was one of those goals when he has kicked it and everyone knew stright away that it was a goal and the crowd was all on their feet as soon as it left Blakey's foot. Still sends shivers down my spine lol. Awesome match. Also we didnt have Blumfield and Wellman in that day either. But i guess they didnt have Carey Stevens and Martyn

Boomer Harvey was on fire in the first quarter, and I can remember when David King had the shot on the siren from 70 that missed. I love listening to it on the 3aw commentary, with Rex Hunt saying, "oh that's gone behind the stick! He's missed that by a bees dick!"

That was the turning point i thought

Bewick kicked 6. Was awesome that day.

And A.Jarman ensured we won that day - the sitter he missed in the 3/4. Brings a smile to my face.

Wallis was an average player at best - really he was a Sheedy thug and he did as he was told by the lunatic.

Wellman 30 times better football player than Wallis. there will always be someone to miss out.
