I wish people would have more faith in the Redbacks. Our plan all along was clearly to let them score 400 and take 7 quick wickets before our tail enders started playing seriously and went after the draw. We knew the rain was coming, so it was just a case of giving the Tasmanians false hope before we ripped it away from them.

does there come a time and a place where cricket australia step in and do something here? surely the last thing wanted is such an uncompetitive team in the competition designed to groom future test stars? losing by an innings + change with 440odd is just ludicrous, but for similar scorelines to be happening again and again and again, and they have been for years. it's just ridiculous.

I think SA have the talent to play a lot better than they do. Hughes, Klinger, Ferguson when he applies himself, Botha, Putland, George when he's picked etc.
CA can't do shit about a bad culture. It's up to the SACA to improve that.
