Should we risk Hislop and Ryder or bring in some other young guns like Sam Lonergan and Karl Reimers, maybe even Bolton (not that he's a young gun)

simple if they are fit play them if they are not dont.. there is no point playing either youngster as bolten or heff would provide much greater output than an unfit ryder or an unfit hislop... we should play the best team on the park. lonergan hasnt been overly great at VFL level and reimers has been pretty good but needs to do more before being put up for selection..

Both trained well yesterday so where is the risk ?
And just for your info Lonergan missed last weeks Bendigo game and hardly did any training yesterday so he was no chance of being selected ;)

wouldnt be to sure about that, we did it with stanton a few weeks ago

Stanton was a complete different situation. He missed the monday and wednesday training and had to do a fitness test on match day.
Ryder and Hislop both trained solidly yesterday and wont need to pass a fitness test on match day to play.

Re: Should we risk

Dustin Fletcher didn't train either, is that because of his suspension or an unknown injury? Although McVeigh did train.

Fletcher has been carrying a groin injury for a while. The suspension will probably prove to be a blessing.

Very happy with that, 2 of my favourite young guns. Ryder very important to our side so im glad he's not injured, i thought he was supposed to be out for about 2 weeks which is why i was suprised to hear you say he trained so well and will be playing Saturday..... wierd.

Watched Ryder carefully at Training yesterday, he went about it like nothing was wrong and moved really well. He and Hislop look ready to go.
