I wonder if giving Sid the 9 is just adding the pressure on ?? Sloaney could've already offered it to Muzz too, he's been retired for a while.

Will hold him in good stead at AFL level. Just have this feeling about Draper, going to be a special player if he can address his flaws which have been overblown.

Players ask to be given certain numbers, and existing players get first dibs before new recruits.
Trade ins probably go before draftees too.
We may have made an exception for Welsh.

I think every club would treat player numbers with little thought and most would use them as a fringe benefit for established players to switch excluding perhaps some numbers that fall into certain categories, f/s numbers, #1 in Ports case for captain and numbers of recent retired ex champions. Its whatever is available frankly. Walker only has a year left, Draper may swap into Walkers old number. Who knows!
Can't believe this guy fell into your lap, he's exactly what you need, looking forward to watching him next year

Crows got what everyone was screaming for - pace pace pace. He needs to develop some composure to go with it.
I still think .Langford the better player - much more the architect and big metres gained boy.
