I watched the replay and they showed the physio doing his work on him. He tried to do that hamstring stretch where you push the player's leg up towards the body and Elvis gave a pretty big grimace instantly.
Two things occurred to me watching that:
1) it can't have been a very bad tear - or even an obvious tear at all - if they were trying to stretch it like that
2) I hope the physio didn't inadvertently make it worse. He pushed on the leg pretty hard and Elvis looked in a bit of pain the second he did it
I agree it's clearly not a bad one - the worse more ballistic ones are when you are running flat out. In my experience you aren't running in a few days later , you are barely walking properly. A hammy done from a twisting movement doesn't take nearly as long . Doubt he'd be any likelihood to play this week but the following is a possibility although if it wasn't finals you wouldn't risk it.
