terry wallace let a few truths drop last nite at the Tiger Lillies thingy...simmonds wont play rd 1, thursfield will actually b out for a while. may play vfl rd1 (afl rd2) and pattison will be our no.1 ruckman whilst simmo is out with him being undecided about knobel being in the 22 or not. kingsley who was listed as 6-8 weeks about 3 or 4 weeks ago is expected to still b another 6 weeks. interesting to see how we will go with out simmo. lucky we r playing a team that is also weak in that department.

yeh thats what im not sure about. he was meant to play against melbourne and was a late exlusion so u wld think it wld more likely to b an injury. lets hope he recovers quick. i agree about mcguane, didnt until this preseason but i do now.

thats when he will be right to resume full training and maybe get a game with the coburg 1's. i dont think we will see him break into the side til rd4-5 whereas two months ago he was a monty for rd1.

If.....if.......so a guy thats recovering from a fractured ankle and hasn't been able to play, and may not because he isn't ready, will spank us if he does manage to crawl out onto the field.

You should prepare yourself for the fact that Simmo will be underdone, and our rucks, despite their lowly status in the league, are performing well against higher rated opposition.

Told you so.

Just so we are clear, I actually hope that both Simmo and Thurst make speedy recoveries. The games (and wins) are much better when they with full oppositon teams. Less excuses for opposition supporters (ala Brown - unfit, Bradshaw etc on Sat night)

Greg Miller coaches a netball team at Beaumoris North Primary at 4pm ish, i work there and have spoken to him a few times, apparently Howat and Graham are definate starters for the game
