What do you mean he has more improvement? Sure if Simpson was 30 then you could definately say that but he's 22 and he will certainly improve as well, or do you not think that will happen?

Think about it logically, both players are similar in talent, yet Raines is younger and has that extra two years to develop more. Raines at 20 is already at the level of Simpson at 22, so he has that 2 more years.

Who would you say is a better prospect, a good 21 year old or a similarly good 19 year old? The 19 year old has more scope to improve since he is younger.

I disagree(but then again i am proberbly biassed), but what about phyisical development? Raines at 20 already has a far more mature and built up body than Kade Simpson does who is still built like a kid coming out of the TAC cup.

Physical development, the game is moving towards netball, physical development isn't as important as what it used to be or what everyone thinks. But regardless, you prove my point further, that Raines is more developed than Simpson, and at a younger age has more scrope of development.

Put it this way, If I was picking a new team, and had to chose out of the two who play almost identical roles and are almost identical in skill, i'd pick Raines because he has that two years more to develop.

Raines is an attacking BP.

Simpson is an attacking wingman.

Big difference.
