Lycett will come good. I have faith that he will be our #2 ruckman in the long term

could be a fine forward - he can kick it is just in his head at the momentLycett will get there but Sinclairs efforts right now are awesom and he deserves to stay.
Sinclair is riding coat tail. The fact Sinclair is a more adequate forward and less experienced ruckmen has probably played into his hands a little but at this stage Simpson like Worsfold jumped the gun too early.
Sinclair could have been dropped after his first few games.

Some guys just take time to work into the season. It sounded like he put in the work in the offseason so it's probably just in his head. I look forward to him coming in and cementing his spot and build on his form from last year. He throws his body around much much more than Sinclair and has more of a presence. Sinclair however deserves to keep his spot right now.Got too comfortable with Cox retiring and signing a four year contract? Motivation is a tricky thing.
It felt like we got beaten in the ruck and in the clearances when NicNat was off the ground pretty convincingly.
Even in the last two years when Dean Cox was in the team it felt that way.
Lycett hasnt been rucking in wafl and hasnt shown enough to replace sinclair . Its healthy to have it hanging over your head that there is a ruckman that can take your spotIt felt like we got beaten in the ruck and in the clearances when NicNat was off the ground pretty convincingly.
I maintain Lycett will be better in the long run, but probably needs a couple of really good WAFL matches to force his way back in.
