I think it’s 46? Not entirely sure.
Also like to point out not one new recruit is off an AFL list or VFL list from last year, despite Sam Melb’s excitement. Strewth, I was on a QAFL list in 2006, does that count still?

Tom Ford was at the eagles, albeit a while ago and don't think he played much. Sean Downie was at Collingwoods VFL, again unsure how we went but both will dominate div 2, along with Corp.
I would be backing EB in for the flag, Highett and Doveton the next tier.
Any word on how James Pattinson is looking for the Doves? Body holding up?

I seen him the other week and he’s put on a bit of weight and said he hurt his calf I agree I don’t think he will play much because of his body won’t hold up to many sports anymore and I think he’s enjoying life not having much sporting commitments

Extenuating circumstances??? Hopefully not being able to count is not one of the reasons to ask for a higher cap.

Well they didn't without a full strength team , they talked about the FF from Beena getting 1000 a game and 250 a goal !

What was the end result? surely Murrumbeena would beat a Division 7 VAFA team by 10+ goals.

If that contract is real the bloke would of made nearly 30k. For a club that went down to Division 3 because of a mass exodus during covid because they had no club rooms and couldn't afford contracts during covid that sounds like absolute BS .

I doubt anyone except for Lyndon Dunn would be on 1k per game.
The cap is 80k this season for Division 2 I believe so that's nearly 20% on one player .

No way your team can get any consistency throughout a quarter of footy with that many on the bench.
Can too many players become an issue for bentleigh perhaps?
Though I suppose thirds don’t do praccys matches.

Blokes overrated, during the granny last year at half time he was walking through the centre of the ground wearing a moon boot drinking a beer , I wouldnt give some one with that attitude and commitment a chip a game letta lone $1000 a game , last year they were the classic team of champions not a champion team and it showed , if they fix that they may do some damage in div 2

Cloke is a star and fantastic for his club as he knocks back the cash every year , not many like that around

Councils need to stay in their lane. Fill in the pot holes, run the libraries and take our *ing bins out. Leave it at that.

Don't see why goalposts can't stay up during summer/cricket season. Kingston Council keeps goal posts up at many grounds in their jurisdiction, not sure why others can't also do so.

Wouldn’t worry Bomber spoken to people at a major Turf Company that look after major Turf contracts thru out Victoria and interstate and the in house team at the Turf Section at Glen Eira are going to finished up within the next couple months as the women in charge is a pen pusher no more then that and wants contractors.

She has NO turf experience and she was an open plan person at the council , organising bloody dog parks etc.
