Farmer comes under greater scrutiny than any other player in the AFL (Josh would be the only one that goes close with Crowley and Solly not too far behind) He knows this and yet he still does stupid things all the time. by the way did anyone of you see pav on nine news then. i dont reckon he seemed too happy with jeff. i believe very disappointed in jeffs actions was peppered throughout the whole part about jeff. i reckon most of the boys would have just about had enough of jeff and josh doing stupid things (josh to a lot lesser extent)

There was a reverse angle which Dockerland didn't show funny enough, in it you see Farmer pause, line up Nicoski and then bury his elbow into the back of his head.

I think their should be a no holds barred cage match between Farmer and Kerr at the end of the year, imagine the cheap shots on display there.

Well if that's the case then I'd like to see that reverse angle (if possible). I'll also add that the main reason I don't want Jeff suspended was because Mooney didn't get anything for a similar action.

I don't think it will either somehow. I still say that Mooney's was worse than Farmer but I'm prepared to accepts Framer's suspension only because there's nothing we can do about it.

Jeff will be like Cousinsx2 once the need to get up for football is gone.... he's a good bloke though.... in the traditional aussie way, a little touchy and violent though. I met him once before he went to Melbourne, I had friends who were friends with his girlfriend.. and even though he was kinda short the look in his eyes really sent a message of intimidation.

Can see him doing the "Once Were Warriors" thing at a pub, the ending scene.

For all his personal problems, he is one of the best aboriginal players to play AFL. One of the best small forwards the game has seen going on his goal averages too.

Considering that Phil Matera, who wouldn't be fit to tie Jeff Farmer's shoelaces, only played 179 games, then I'd say 249 for the Wiz was a great effort considering all the abuse he's received from fans, players and administrators alike.

Actually in there amongst the leather poisoning there were a few but the slime managed to make them look quite good, quite often to the tune of a goal or two

im surprised the panel thought it was 'reckless'...its hard to determine what is reckless/intentional anyway. quite clearly farmers eyes were fixated on the back of nico's head as he braced to drive his forearm into his head. looked pretty intentional to me.

and the fact that nico was clearly hurt by it shows that the impact was more than 'low'.

1 week is pretty lucky for him i reckon.
