I’m sorry man, it’s been done.

I don’t think you can pinpoint any one song as being the best ever recorded.

Perhaps this one is the best in your opinion, I just don’t share your opinion on it.
But science* proved it. Jackie being the best song ever recorded is just a law of nature.

*science being acid soaked discussions as a teenager. Still subject to peer review.

Some suggestions people may not have heard of before:

Pinkish Black - melancholic synth
Miracle - less melancholic synthetic, 80s influenced
Kylesa - psychedelic sludge
Baroness - sludge (early) arty rock (later)
Code Orange - glitch industrial metalcore
Slug - rap/hiphop
The Mars Volta - psychedelic latin rock on roids
Atmosphere - Duo of slug and ant. Rap
Sa Roc - forget Beyonce, Sa Roc is queen
Chico Hamilton - 70s groovy jazz
Trash Talk - Sacramento hardcore
Clipping - weird, progressive (musically not socially) rap
DJ Blyatman - good ol Russian hardbass
Vitalic - French electro
Feldub - dub (not step)
Emma Ruth Rundle - singer songwriter, rock I guess but more ambient and moody
Chelsea Wolfe - faux folk metal without the metal
Run the Jewels - rap Duo of killer mike and E-lp, both legends. You'd know E-lps work.
Bisou - poppy electronic stuff
Chelsea Jade - darker leaning pop
Cattle Decapitation - environmentally charged deathgrind
Caravan Palace - elctroswing
Brain Tentacles - deathjazz
Josh Pyke - Aussie acoustic
Chon - slick modern jazz for cool kids
Hail Mary Mallon - Duo of Aesop Rock and Rob Sonic
Eprom - electronic music but not necessarily to dance to
King Woman - sludgy, droney, breathy, heady, amazingy
Jess and the Ancient Ones - big sounding, 60s inspired bombast "metal"
Rainbow Kitten Surprise - indie, alt, laid back
Psycroptic - technical death metal from tassie
Corps Mente - a well known metal producer and classical singer Duo. Very unique
The Horrors - odd alternative faux Goth britpoprock early on, more triple J friendly later
Sons of Kemet - sax heavy Afro jazz with spoken word elements
People Like You - jazzy alt folk rock
U.S. Girls - depressive pop
Weekend Nachos - power violence put through a doomy filter
Still Woozy - one man effort, indie rock
AC Slater - bass
Chase and Status - British jungle beats

Thank you

No, let's just call it a draw and I'll listen to something else.
Your loss. I'll have this on repeat all night. You know where to find me when you change your mind.
