That was also 10 years ago and we've since learnt he only told Phil Walsh, so maybe others at the club truly thought he would be staying. He's not posting anything outlandish about how we are guaranteed to get Petracca, just giving us info on what happened during our pitch to him, what is wrong with that? It's a rumours thread, I don't get this attacking of people supplying them

Agree 100%, it’s actually quite pathetic that insecure individuals feel the need to bag people for passing info on in good faith. It doesn’t mean info passed on is 100% guaranteed to play out that way ultimately - things can change.

Posters have bagged many over the years inc TMS and trigger13 both who I believe have very credible sources. It should be pretty obvious who are the rumour trolls and who are credible.

He’s potentially a better option.

Younger, will likely cost less in a trade and the Dees are keener to get rid of him so will probably pay some of his salary.

There’s probably more risk, but an interstate move and a chance to get a new support network around him might be what he needs.

I'm hoping we haven't been too conservative with the incentives that would lure Petracca to Adelaide. We sat on our offer presented to NWM and then let everyone else outbid us. That was never going to work.

If things are looking iffy on the bid, we need to up the ante.

It's not me that has rocks in their head bud, Oliver's numerous past issues are down to one person Clayton Oliver and it's pretty obvious those close to that issue at the Demons still have serious concerns or they wouldn't be taking this action so publicly knowing it will effect his trade value
