Zane Duursma has been awful but so have North Melbourne.

Our system would be much better for him

Issue is he is a role player, not the inside midfielder we need

He is Norf's version of Brayden Cook - pass.

I don’t mind it, a 3rd tall type would suit our set up when Tex is finished . I think we need a genuine small pressure forward to add to our mix (and I know Duursma isn’t ).

Duursma is clearly talented, and potentially in a much better system/team it will help him acclimate to AFL level.

Rowbottom would be an upgrade on Berry & would give us a defensive midfielder.

Defensive is really the only thing he’s good for, and how much would he cost

He could as he is only what, 2 years into his career so a change might suit but what cost would North ask for him if he did want to come?

I'm assuming the good family is more about a player's character .....where that become's important, or not, is the impact on the team dynamics .....does it cause any fractures

It's fine to say, a player is a game winner .....but if the change room is tense, then that can cause issues ......not saying it does, each situation has to judged as a stand alone

Is Smith going to cause issues at GEEL ......it does seem that things have got a bit tense, the more the season & post season has progressed .....team mates words of wisdom appear to being rebuffed, so it's a big watch

If you want to be esoteric ....you could ask how the gameplan stood up, qtr by qtr, game by game

Organisations think big picture .....I don't hear anyone inside the Club, or outside commentary panicking .....the learnings from a failed final series will create changes for 2026 .....success comes from failure
