I've been going since the practice game against essendon too. been at both flags and the losing GF. my kid has run through the banner at dangers last game. I'm not some fly by night.

And I see a lot of footy not just in adelaide but also in melbourne and all teams. when I talk to people here in melbourne from other teams about who they are afraid of it is Rankine! every day of the week. you have just deferred your opinion to the coaches opinion. ffs.

We didn’t play the grand finalists at their homes grounds, that’s a clear advantage

I understand that but we are unlikely to play both Grand Finalists twice next year tho.

We could but reckon we will play one of either Brisbane/Geelong twice and two of Hawks/Collingwood/Gold Coast twice. That is if the AFL decides to give us a 3 (1-6), 2 (7-12) and 1 (13-18) fixture spilt for the double ups.

If I was a betting man, I’d Brisbane and Collingwood for sure as two of the three doubleups in the 1-6 grouping.

In the same way we give games to imminent delistees, we don't seem to want to address weaknesses whilst winning, even when apparent.

This board has spent the whole season (and previous seasons) bemoaning our poor midfield output, yet it is ignored in the coaching box time and time again.

If clubs are offering 1.5 million and Brisbane says they will too… why wouldn’t Bailey just stay?

Port will match Butters because they have NWM space. Brisbane won’t/can’t.

I agree with the sentiment that rankine is our most brilliant and dangerous but not our best (Dawson) and there’s a clear top 3 (thikthorpe)

But if rankine didn’t get the late season suspension there’s every chance he wins our B&F.

Imo he is now our most important player & hardest to replace.

Have him #2 behind Dawson for best player.

A good coach learns quickly from his mistakes & doesn't keep repeating them... particularly for finals.
