I felt inspired

Damage has been done..

Hate spiders with a passion, but I agree with people that as long as they stay out of my bedroom, bathroom and toilet, I'm happy for them to stay.

This doesn't go for white-tails & red backsthough. Kill on sight.

Also, my side view mirror always has cobwebs appearing around it. Even after I spray the area inside and out with my hose, the next day it's back again. I have no idea what's building it, and really don't want to ever find out. I just want it ****ing gone :thumbsd:

BTW (I dare you to click)

That's when I wish life was a video gam and I could just whip out the flamethrower.

**** you all and **** this thread.

This. :(

Had a visit by a huntsman tonight. :(. ****ing bugger- never seen one run so fast either, usually they just sit there up on the wall... no this one was running around the ****ing floor. Thank christ i was walking on it (the floor) at the time.

Sprayed it's ass... haha spider wasnt quick enough. Shell: 1. Spider: 0

GF got herself a new camera, will post large hi def pics, its the first big one we've had in our new place.

You will regret looking at them.

FWIW, she took the photos and then the spider ran off under the outside walkway to the garden. She attacked his area with mortein, unsure if she killed it or just really pissed it off.

I let her attempt to kill it as it was between two posts I always wander under when having a smoke.

Mum got bitten by a White Tail a couple nights back. She is now scared to sleep in her bed, and is on the couch. Nasty little things.

Blinds were closed in my bedroom this afternoon for some reason so i decided to open them, and as i did a huntsman leaps from the curtains about half a metre from my body and begins to rapidly scuttle under my bed. Scared whatever remaining shit i had in my body. :thumbsd: About an hour later i saw it crawling all over my bed, and it's probably still in my room as i speak. I know they are harmless but i find them rather unpleasent, begone.

I was sitting on my laptop in bed the other week and I feel something in my hair, I casually swat at my hair thinking its a fly or mosquito and lo and behold a big ****ing black spider lands on my arm.

I proceed to shit myself and flick it off, only problem is when I turned on the lights I can find the thing.....Slept on the couch for the next 3 nights.

I was cleaning out my shed at home on Sunday because it got flooded with the recent rain.

I put my hand around to pick up some camping equipment and my hand goes into a big ass cob web. And i pull my hand away with the cob webs all over my hand AND THERE IS A SPIDER STUCK ALL IN THE COBWEBS ON MY HAND

I freaked out like a 13 year old school girl. And no matter how much hand flicking or crazy arm movements i did the spider would not flick away because it was stuck in the cob webs. The little bugger was going crazy as well, scared shitless.

I finally got it off by putting my hand in the water from the flooding i had in the shed and drowned the ****ing thing.

I can still feel the sensation on my hand when it was trying to escape.

Extra scared for like now.

.

Same thing happened to me- but up in Queensland when we were having a picnic lunch near some dumb bushlands area. Landed smack bang on my leg, huge black spider.

I proceeded to burst into tears and then refused to leave the car until we left. :o:D

The guy in the following video, Nick Le Souef, lived in a spider-infested shopfront all in the name of charity. I worked around the area so I stopped to observe and speak to him. It was spooky stuff.

Yeah I went to see that guy as well (& made a small donation). He was eerily relaxed.

Been living in the U.S for a year...probably seen 2 spiders, neither bigger than a small button. I used to shit my pants on a daily basis in Aus when the weather was warmer and the huntsmen came out to play.

:D when I was in Ghana, I came home from the wet mess and saw this big black/orange spider inside the lounge room...so I blasted the shit out of it with insecticide and it didn't move....
I watched a bit of tele then got up to go to bed and couldn't see the ****er anywhere...
I slept with one eye open for a few nights until one day I noticed it curled up and dead in the corner of a spare room...thank **** for that!

F***.

That was weird how he talked about redbacks like they couldn't hurt a flea. Lucky he survived.

Really? For mine, they qualify as one of nature's more hideous creations, with their surprise attacks and fat legs like clammy fingers, dragging their victims to a dark doom...

People who torture (some) animals get respect from me

I'm talking about like gigantic spiders, the scariest of the scary

I once passed out in Darwin, with a gigantic Darwin spider on the roof above my bed, and my friends just left me there cuz they were drunk and they couldnt be bothered moving me

I didnt find out until two nights later, when we all got drunk again and they were all giggling at me

Re: People who torture (some) animals get respect from me

I don't know if its true or not but as a kid in primary school (grade 6 or 7) I remember my science teacher telling us that the average human swallows 4-6 spiders a night? Can anyone clarify?
