They played on each other in the 2nd Derby last year. Staker killed him.

Polak is a stiff, very unathletic, but I expect Vic fans to talk him because they think their club is a chance to get him while they know they have no chance of getting a talented young player like Staker.

Staker by a mile. Once Staker gets the muscle on he will be a gun, he is 196cm and runs and carrys the ball like a midfielder, Polak is the same size and moves like a snail.

Hhhhmmmmm....... wrong. Polak > Staker.

Its just a no-brainer. Fremantle wishes they had the Eagles midfield and Eagles wish they had the dockers Key position players. Though i didn't realise Staker was the same age. He will probably be good once he bulks up. But not as good as Polak.

Here's a stat:
Polak 2003, 2004 was 1st for contested marks at the Dockers.

Dockers 2005 is 1st for contested marks in the competition. Polak has had a bad year but is easily the best contested mark at Fremantle. Which says a lot about his potential talent.

So in hindsight maybe Staker 2005 = Polak 2005. Polak has had a ******** year, with ample room for improvement. He has suffered injuries all year.

Haha, you wish!

Staker: 150 kicks, 74 handballs, 83 marks, 13 goals
Polhack: 82 kicks, 59 handballs, 58 marks, 2 goals

Is this poll designed for the two WA teams to out-hack eachother?

Staker is awesome, how he isnt winning this poll ill never know....One of the best youngsters going around, and Polak is just, well, CRAP!

So does anyone want to change their mind after tonight's performance? He had a great game. He showed a level of commitment to the cause that Polhack has never shown and will never show. He is a year behind on his development but he is already ahead of him.

Staker has played 5 more games

So what? The comment was that Polak's 2005 season = Staker's 2005 season, when clearly it isn't. Its not Staker's fault Polhack gets injured, suspended and goes AWOL before games.

After his second-half of the season, I'd say Staker by a fair bit. If you could give Staker another year of AFL and compare him to Polak of today it would be beyond doubt.

Polak has been a disapointment this year, even this year he's been moved around to be a leading up the ground CHF to CHB. The slight on his athletisicm
isnt that bad, his major problem is his skills and decision making, can read the play ok but seems to panic when he has the ball in his possession, IF he decides to take his footy seriously he could become a very good player.

Problem is the match commitee's confidence in him has dropped and has been passed by players like Thornton and Mundy who had good years and have just as much potential if not more than him. With Haddrill coming back next year, there might not be a spot for him and such as what as happened thru the last 2 years he won't get a position to hold down. Id be surprised if he is still at the club next year.

On Staker, he's improved a fair bit since the Port game, still looks like a flanker or winger to me long term, has good pace, good skills and will cause a few headaches matchup wise in the future.
