Richards would play second ruck because I would like to see Pattison playing at CHF in 2008. I don't think that Graham is quite ready to play as a full time second choice ruckman.

So what of Richo? Presumably FF?

Fairly big call when you would think that his great strength is his endurance running at CHF, which hasn't shown many signs of declining in 07.

I know many think he will go to FF when he starts to decline, but surely he has another year at CHF left?

Maybe the thinking centres around uncovering the future CHF, so we give Pattison time in that position, while also giving Richo time in his 'retirement' spot at FF.

Actually, I would have Richo floating around the F50, not necessarily sitting at FF. Let Deledio, Brown, Riewoldt, Schulz(if playing) rotate through FF. Richo would be that more dangerous as a floating forward where he could line up on a HFF/FP/FF/CHF even the wing at any stage of a match. Make it very hard for opposition coaches to know how to play him. Do they put a KP defender who can't really run with him on him? Play a tallish flanker who can run with him but will struggle in the air matching him?
