Goddammit! Thanks, I wouldn't make mistakes if I had a database to query, I just do everything manually.

I could lie and say I meant no Rd. 23 game at the MCG has ever attracted 70,000 :)

What is the record for discrepancy between two teams in terms of distance covered in a match? Yesterday Geelong players covered 253.6km, 26.1km more than Gold Coast's 227.5km.

Has there been any other quarter this year where both sides have kicked 7 goals (at least) as occurred in Q4 Pies v Freo yesterday? If not, when was the last time it occurred?

The leading aggregate quarter goals tally for 2018 was 13 - Brisbane 7 vs Collingwood 6 in their round 7 clash (second quarter). In round 2 Adelaide 7 and Richmond 5 managed 12 in the second quarter.

The last time both sides scored at least 7 goals in a quarter was in Rd. 4 2013 - Sydney 8 vs Geelong 7 (15) in the first quarter.

The last time 14 goals (at least) was scored in a quarter was in Rd. 23 2016 - St Kilda 8 vs Brisbane 6 in the last quarter.

And Brisbane just had to score enough to make Essendon last didn't they.:mad::mad:

Who has the most career games ever, but who only played against one club?

2 games by 20 players, most recently Chris Hall (PA) v Hawthorn 2003.

Two players played their first three games against the same opponent:
Jim Neylan (Fi & Ca) v St.Kilda
Neil Sutherland (Ge) v Richmond

But Neil Sutherland played FOR Geelong, not against them. I remember Neil, came over to SA in 1964 and played for South Adelaide for awhile.

Yeah I mucked that up. Corrected.

Collingwood's Josh Thomas holds a record of sorts, having played against 17 different opponents in his first 17 games. Taylor Duryea and Trent McKenzie played against 16 in 16.

Is Moana Hope playing for any other team during the year apart from Collingwood in the AFLW?

I think I saw Melbourne University.

Not really sure how to word this, but what are the highest combined winning and losing margins that two teams have brought into a match-up against each other from each team's previous week results?

For example, Gold Coast play St Kilda next weekend. Gold Coast are coming off a 108-point loss and St Kilda a 71-point loss, for a combined losing margin of 179 points.

Last time we had 3 teams with < 70% in the 2nd half of the season?

EDIT: think it's R12, 2015

R12-2018: GC 62.1, SK 68.7, CA 63.5
R12-2015: CA 69.0, BL 65.1, GC 66.2

Since the start of the 2015 season, what is the biggest margin by which Carlton has been ahead in any individual match?
Just going on qtr. by qtr. (and final) scores:- 47 points - 2015 Rd. 21: Carlton 10.2 (62) vs. Melbourne 2.3 (15) - 1/2 time || Carlton won by 23 points.

The only other time they've led at any change, or won the game by 40 or more points was 2015 Rd. 4 when they beat St Kilda by 40 points: Carlton 18.13 (121) vs St Kilda 12.9 (81).

As for "in-between-break" scores, I do not know. I see they led by 53 points several times in the game against Melbourne, so there's a fair chance that will be the largest 'in-play' lead they've held.

Carlton's first goal of the 3rd quarter in that first game gave them a 53 point lead.

Yeah, that would have to be it. I remember that game - despite the lead, it felt at times throughout the second half that Melbourne could and would overrun us.

Since 2016, I'm fairly sure the 51 points by which Carlton led Brisbane halfway through the last quarter would comfortably be its biggest lead.

But these would be outliers - I'd say that in just about (if not) all games in which Carlton have led their opposition in this timeframe, the margin would never have gone beyond about five goals.

Is anybody able to put together a list of how many times each club has had a score of 100 or more at three quarter time? And also at half time? (Don't forget Fitzroy)
