I telephoned Steven today to wish him all the best in the draft.
He was very approachable and was interested in my thoughts which I was very happy to share with him.
He has analysed it in great depth however was willing to give me the time of day instead of brushing me off
I am very happy to have him represent the Geelong Football club and I am very sure his selections will put us in a good position

I like your selections - it will be interesting to see how he plays this draft. I just hope that he is conservative with our first pick as you have suggested. How did you contact him? Through the club?

Your wish list is my way of thinking spot on!!!

I just hope we take one of these three with pick 7.... and we end up with any of the players with our 2nd and 4th... perfect!

Pretty happy with your selections mate. However, would prefer Davey instead of Houlihan, would be happy with Prismall though. I hope that he listened

You rang up stephen? I hope you know him and can do that. Otherwise he probably had the cops tracing your call in case you were a crazy while asking for your thoughts on the draft. Great stalling tactic.

a guy from my work did the same thing about 5 years ago and said exactly the same thing, that stephen answered all his questions and didnt brush him off at all, he was quite impressed considering it could have been a rival from another club
