Today's game shows how physically underdeveloped this entire squad is top to bottom. Can't recall a game like today where we saw one team breaking as many tackles as what Hawthorn did.

And the sad thing for me is that I'm near certain that any change in this role would be an internal one.
White noise.

Who could they possibly promote within this group?

Too skinny, no core strength, no 5m burst speed to break through congestion.

did we even attempt many?

it was apparent, and embarrassing

Any chance Andrew Russell returns to Port? I know Port lowballed him back in 2004 and went to Hawthorn afterwards, but surely under a new coaching regime with Carr at the helm, Russell can do his magic.

Port didn't lowball him. He played the old go home to family card and we let him go. And as I recall he had agreed to stay then flip-flopped.

And time has probably passed him, he had some serious criticism at Carlton for how poorly their players were prepared and they flicked him.

Could have sworn he mentioned recently he was lowballed at Port and was only offered an extra 5k by them to stay and Hawthorn offered him more to the point where Port suddenly increased their offer and offered more than what Hawthorn was offering to stay and he said no and went there.

Not the version I heard when he left, but I guess he would know.

Has to go right?

Older list than the Crows.

Yet slower, not as good runners, and way skinnier.

What is this guy's KPI?
So much skinnier it's not funny.

How is Drew still so skinny, he's been on our list for so long. Jackson, Marshall, Rozee etc

Even Wines has lost size.

And not like we've sacrificed size for fitness. We're the least fittest side in the comp as well.

He's the guy who learnt from the guy who learnt from the guy who learnt from Burgess. What a CV
No he learnt from Burgess directly then from Ian McKeown when he took over.

I'd try and get back Macca before Burgo. But we cant afford to buy him back from the Philadelphia Flyers.
