You might know a bit better than I, but from what I understand is the prevailing sentiment at the club is Tim has 'outgrown' his role, in that he is far more qualified than his current position suggests, and the club are moving to lock him down in fear he would be the one to move to greener pastures.

if we've gone from picking the wrong people for bad reasons to picking the right people for meh reasons that is still a teeny bit of progress. or luck. or a bit of both more likely. we shall see.

isn't it basically one takes them to breaking point, and the other one supposedly preps them for that as well as picking up any pieces afterwards. I could be oversimplifying

Physios are about repairing people's bodies and spending their time inside.

Sports Scientists are about biomechanics, regulating how hard the body can be pushed, analysing data and studying what Olympic level elite athletes are doing around the world. A good sports scientist in a team game like AF is also on the track with the players, both doing stuff with them and observing them.

Sport Scientists can implement PED programs, but the best ones for that are the Doctors - Dr Eufemiano Fuentes , Dr Luis del Moral, Dr Pedro Celaya, Dr Michele Ferrari, Dr Jamie Astaphan etc. Don't use biochemists like Stephen Dank.
