Does anyone apart from me wonder why the same supporters are shown for each club. Collingwood-Joffa, Hawthron-those 2 crazy blokes behind the stands, Essendon-that dark skinned guy,who goes mental and of course the almighty Barb for Carlton. I love them, how good is it to see all the supporters, Joffa has almost developed cult status. By the way is there any posters on here that are your teams #1 shown supporter.

Another topic- what are some funny things you have heard commentaters say, I remember last year Des Headland let rip a huge torp after the siren and Dermie, lets out a huge,Shhhhhhhhiiiiitt thats huge.

Without a doubt Don Scott would come up with the most meaningly and hilarious comments ever (would always describe the obvious). We would watch the footy just to hear his Special Comments.

My favourite was a couple of games after Alistair Lynch came back from his stress fatigue problem. Alistair sprinted half way up the ground to get the ball, as the ball rolled over the boundary line Lynch crouched over to gain his breath after the sustained sprint.

Scott’s Comment “Yeah there it is, the stress fatigue has set in, Lynch will be done for the night" I think Lynch ended up kicking six that night.

Bring back Don he was a crack up.

I remember during a Hawthorn game in 2003, Dennis Cometti made a comment after a smart bit of play from Rayden Tallis. "Tallis, uses his head......... the one that Dermie stepped on!" Thought it was a good one.

eg "that was as dirty as a Warney SMS"

In the Bulldogs cheer squad they show the big guy. They probably try to other people but he stands out a bit and always gets in the picture.
When North used to play a lot of Friday night matches at the G they used to show this lady with purple hair. She was pretty fired up.

There's 3 they always focus on in Sydney. Kenny Williams, who stands behind the goals at the MA Noble end - during the days when I first moved up to Sydney and there were tiny crowds you could hear him from the O'Reilly concourse.
Then there's peter_h_oz, who's always getting them fired up around the Brewongle. And finally, BigFooty's own JF in the cheer squad.

I've noticed that Fox Footy tends to show one old fella at every Eagle home game after an important goal is kicked?

he's always got an eagles cap on and a pole with blue and gold streamers on it, maybe some of you other eagles fans may know some more about that fella?

i think it was against brisbane at the dome and Jeremy went nuts (he was 2nd tier) and he went full skitz they showed him about 7 times in a quater he got more air time that Hiord and LLoyd combined

There is a little wrinkly Collingwood supporter with short white hair who gets shown every time Channel 10 show the Pies at Telstra Dome. I reckon I saw her 40 times this season.
