Why is Gerard Healy totally against us no matter who we play? Today he suggested Curtis gat a free for taking the legs, which simply didn't happen. It was kicking in danger though. Does anyone know why Haven't hates us?

The discipline and the 50's have me tearing my hair out at times so god knows how Cox feels. Like the protected zone one we give away at least one per week...I know the umps are inconsistent and miss it a lot, but god it shits me when we clearly infringe and then the player acts like they're confused why. If you don't know why there's issues.
The rules are a shit show so when they pluck out random ones, I get it, but a lot of the ones we're giving away aren't random, they are blatantly obvious. The back to the 9 too, how can players not understand this one by now?
Our discipline this year honestly may end up being why we missed the 8....it was certainly the difference between at least one extra win.

Was a weird game, done enough just to win basically. But would have to play better than that to beat the Giants next week. Kept thinking North were gonna comeback as the Swans were just toying with it a bit in the third and wasted chances, then they never really challenged. Another win in the column, just gotta keep ticking them off.

Game was very ordinary...but it's a win. Heeney and Grundy had huge games but we really struggled with taking advantage with entries into the forward fifty. Some decent signs again but a lot more players have to contribute to beat GWS. Agree Bice and Roberts need a spell in the twos.
As an aside we have had some really poor umpiring lately but kudos to the video review umpire with the Curtis 'goal'. Would have been easy to give it with the first few replays but he waited to see the final angle where Curtis has kicked the arm not the ball.

North were only kicking a winning score if Zurhaar and Curtis had good games. Rampe, Cunningham and Wicks comprehensively shut these 2 down. Hamling also had an excellent game and can't be dropped based on his last 2 games. It will be interesting to see how Cox juggles the backline when McCartin comes back.

Heeney a monster game, we don’t often see, by far the main highlight.

Grundy enormous but not effective, North did well in clearances. I was actually very impressed with how they set up, clearly undermanned, but actually played us very well I thought. Played on quickly, used hand pass well and lowered the eyes plus huge pressure.

Apart from the 2 goliaths we did look flat.

Hamling, Cunningham and Wicks were immense defensively.

Mills and The Liz added a bit of dash and play from defence.

Errol and Chad had almost games and I thought Buller was very good again. Really putting his hand up, may actually be an upgrade on McLean and certainly better than Francis forward for depth.

Still alive although massive game next week, hopefully Heeney and Grundy have a few mates join them to keep the wins coming.

AFL is a huge step up, so unless a newbie is smashing down the door with continuous spectacular performances we should look to bring in experience. McCartin, Florent and Fox spring to mind - though maybe Foxxy needs another VFL match.
