Papley is truly back to his best. And what a stat - every second time he touches the ball. Swans score. So maybe it won't be Chad copping the tag after all.

Interested to know how often Papley and Warner attend the same centre bounce, considering they both play a similar role in the centre bounce setup.

Also think if Warner gets tagged they'll just plonk him in the forward line where he has a knack of kicking goals.

Certainly has to be some overlap given recent attendances. Would have to go back and watch, assume we'd be trying to rotate them, but there'll be times that 2 of Mills, Parker, Rowy are on the bench and can't get back on, or are starting elsewhere.

The only one of my counts that I can find is, I think, from the Dogs game… 28 bounces, Chad 19 and Paps 9… 4 together

People were calling for Paps’ head when he was underperforming a month ago. Now look where he is. He himself said unless youre Dustin Martin you need match fitness.

Now this brings me to everyone hating on Hickey…

I think we need to take a breath on Hickey. He is RJ for a reason. He’s had no match fitness due to injury and he’s not going to get AFL level conditioning unless he plays week in week out. Forget the flag without Hickey.

Even if we he a bandaid fix and played Ladhams we’re going no where if we made top 4. The best outcome possible is to try get RJ back into 2021 form and then we’re the real deal come September.

Hope it pays off and in a months tome we’ll have articles about how Hickey is a top 3 ruckman in the comp again

I think Ladhams' best this year was the best we've had from a ruckman since Pyke/Mumford.

That first quarter against the Bulldogs before he broke his thumb was excellent

And his worst has been getting pulled off the ground. Whos to say in a final the opposition wont target a mentally fragile player?

At this stage RJ over Ladhams at both their peaks any day of the wk
Personally it's the complete opposite for me. Give me Ladhams' best over Hickey's best every day of the week.

The young ruckman has had a few mares? I am shocked!

Meanwhile Hickey's year has consisted of pretty much nothing but mares.

In any case this isn't the appropriate thread for it.

Wow.. I thought you watched the 2021 season 3 times.. Hickey was the tallest guy.. you obviously missed him.
Did you see the stat someone put up today about centre clearances? We've been bottom 6 forever.. except last year when Hickey was playing God

He averaged the same amount of centre clearances as Ladhams is averaging this year.

I also rate Ladhams' tap work a lot more than Hickey's.

Right. So Chads in the news. I'm not inclined to post those media reports as the Swans are currently pursuing legal action with the authorities.
Right now, I'm tipping there is someone, somewhere shitting themselves knowing that jail time is a distinct possibility. If only the courts would do their ****ing job.

Poor kid. I'm not a huge fan of social media, it's wonderful for some things but terrible and terrifying for others.
Really don't see what thrill someone gets by posting crap about others online, truly defies my logic.

I reckon he's mentally tough enough to not let it get into his head. Of course he'll hear about it from the likes of Greene so hopefully it inspires him rather than hinders him.

No idea how the figures were calculated, but if ever there is a justification to bin North or send them to Tassie, this supports it.
I like the stats for GWS.
-6.3%
All those fly by night supporters slowly realising that it is a pretty empty feeling supporting an AFL puppet team.
