Only two things I thought were a bit out of whack were that ie Robbo as potential A grade when Grundy, Mills and Papley were rated B and he ignored our 2025 injuries in predicting us to finish 7-12. Over 60% predicted we would finish top 6. Otherwise it was a pretty good article.

What a spiteful F'wit.
Ill bet $$$$ that the Swans have played in and won more games, more finals and more grand finals than what ever sh*t box Vic club he supports.. that is despite the Swans subject too the 'go home factor',, and never had the privilege of the 'come home factor',, not to mention the cost of living, being in the most competitive sporting market in the world, dealing with the VFL boys club (trade bans, "you cant have everyone")etc etc..
The Swans are too diplomatic to complain, but I loved hearing the GWS list manager two years ago state...

He's not wrong

If we get the Towers, Jones, Ling, drafts right we're a dynasty and not looking at Stephens or McDonald because we're not picking that high. Konstanty was a massive waste and Sheldrick needs to prove himself this year or will also be a bust.

We've all said it many times on this forum. Who the author supports is irrelevant. Hell, he could literally be one of us.

The fact that we have been to grand finals in the past and fallen short proves that we need to change things up.

Agreed. However changing things up on this scale means there is no wiggle room if things go wrong.

The club wants to put all their chips in, and I like that mentality, but in doing so they have to understand that anything short of at least one premiership in the next 4-5 years is a failure and we as fans have to hold them to that standard.

Yep.. watched Brizzy flog Geelong 2 months ago. As much as I hate the cotton-on cats, I do think they're a bad team
I watched the Swans get flogged the year before.
I watched a very very young Swans get smashed in 2022
I watched the VFL give a flag to the dogs in 2016 (the conspiracist in me says it was to save that club)
I watched the 2012 Swans team beat a much better hawthorn
! also watched a 2005 Swans win their first flag for 70 years
I also watched 16 other teams not make the granny
