Bono, for what it's worth, I represent one club. I know three clubs are at this moment definitely pro expansion. I know three are definitely anti. I've had random discussions over the last few weeks with other clubs, including today, who have no idea which way their vote will go.

It was/is always going to get vetoed, whether Ant Bear said yes or no. If he says no and the Wonders vetoed would that word be so dirty?

I think it's a tad unfair to point fingers - if the bids were ready they'd be in, we'd be announcing them today. Some people don't think the bids are ready. Some people don't think their clubs are ready. Some don't think the league is ready. Those aren't agendas, they are true representations of clubs that actually exist.

3 - The expansions have to be approved, 40 odd players won't find starting places in sides if expansion bids fail.

I t may be terms, but its the veto vote from all clubs now that I refer to, not the club that called for a veto, or who seconded it.

The veto is nothing more than the committees move to put the decision rightfully in the hands of the clubs.

We are setting the expansion teams up to fail if we expect them to be the strongest posting teams in the league from the get go. They are going to take time to develop and get a strong team together. The intitial teams get the off the ground.. Then like any team in the league, some will stick around and some players will lose interest, and guess what? They'll get new players.

These expansion clubs set themselves up for failure, without the help of anyone else. They are an absolute rabble from the very first poster to the very last. I will be generous, actually. Dingster and SarahSmiles are the only positives of anyone. What a shame they would attach their names to these disasters.

Do you know when would have been a brilliant time to develop and demonstrate to the wider community that their lists are strong? The past two months. Where has this list of posters been? They were either told to sit still behind a locked door, or are so unwilling to participate in the league that we may as well shoot these bids down now. In any case, a monumental failure in leadership. You simply can not develop a player hidden away in a private message.

Have you seen these match threads? They are absolute flat pepsi.

I thought it was quality over quantity? People don't like mass posting numbers? or does that only apply when it suits some?

A new team should be at least in the top three strongest clubs in the league because we don't want to add one of the weakest. Sadly both bids were incredibly weak. We already have weak teams. Unless we are replacing those weak teams with weak teams we don't need more weak teams. Weak teams.
