As I mentioned in another thread, the TV commentators praised Bolton for going back into Hale. Courageous, they said.
Seemed to me he had his back to the ball and was just trying to make contact with Hale. He had no idea about the ball.
Sounds like a charge, but expect nothing.
What?

He completely took his eyes off the ball and ran back front on into a bloke with nothing BUT eyes for the ball.

It is the single weakest dog act on a football field.

If he doesn't get called up for that I am going to keep that piece of play on hard file and pull it out whenever someone does actually get pinched for it. A get out of jail free card.

No wonder Sydney wanted to piss him off. He's a weak gutted dog.

One thing i did take away from the game and that what we fought for over summer was very important. I feel for the Swans fans at one stage they were chanting Sydney Sydney could u imagine our cheer squad chanting Gold Coast Gold Coast :mad:yuck. Their supporters in Melbourne only get 6 games a yr in Vic and although they are as passionate as the next group of supporters still wouldnt be the same. Imagine seeing us 6 times a yr in Melbourne

The way the Swans play should say to you "this is whats wrong with footy today". Its no coincidence that St kilda are playing that way also, look at their coach and his background, look at the round 1 score between st kilda and the swans, Overall i reckon footy has improved a little bit on last year but games like today do nothing for you. It is the most exciting game in the world and envokes all emotions within us... but the shit that the Swans and St kilda dish up is just rot. Even the Adelaide v Fremantle game last week same thing, I try to avoid watching these sides play because its like watching another game all together, Im old enough to remember the early 80s (anyone whose not grab a tape of a game and watch it) but footy changed when Wallace and Sheedy decided it would be great to flood and play keeping s off at the end of every qtr, its a cross between basketball and soccer these days... not good

No just stupid for travelling to the Dome and expecting to see a game of football.

All I can say is that Sydney is responsible for the latest binge drinking epidemic.
Just against you guys and St Kilda so far, but nobody wants to acknowledge that. Doesn't fit in with general Bigfooty opinion, it seems.

Geelong's list is very different to ours. In general we have smaller, stockier bodies that sacrifice speed and agility, but they have leaner, taller players in general.

Can't comment on your list as I don't know it well enough.
I'm getting the impression from what people have said about the game (as I haven't actually seen it) that you guys went in with a defensive mindset and sought to stifle us rather than backing yourselves to produce a bigger score. Always thought the Swans strength was their ability to run and carry, particularly through the backline. I've seen you guys beat us several times in the past by utilising that run and stretching our forward line (and midfield) to its limits on the counter attack. I dunno...have things changed that much since then?

Re the comments about Geelong, I was talking more generally about the fact that Geelong play an attacking style of football and took us apart last year with that attacking style. They always try to play to their strengths rather than preoccupying themselves with countering the opposition. Is your list so limited in its physical capacities that it is unable to play an attacking brand of football and back itself against the opposition? Just sounds like a mindset thing to me (I should know...we've attempted the tempo-football tactic a few times this year without any success whatsoever  )

Comrade you are one of the more insightful and funny posters on this board.

Huge leeway after today and all it meant but that is not cool.
Not cool ?

Oooh, gee, thanks. How embarrassing.

Is that shit they play called football ?

Well, I stand corrected. My deepest apologies, sh.

Sorry, but this mod comes onto the Sydney Board asking for respect in such a sad week and asking us to wear black armbands, which many did, even at home then he proceeds to post with such disgrace.

He should be ashamed.
What part of ____ off don't you understand?

You are doing a fine job of representing the disgusting group of individuals that is your football team.
