Very fair question. It is like now in F1 when the team is seen as dangerously released the driver from the pitbox the team gets a financial fine instead of an automatic drive through penalty which only punishes the driver who did nothing wrong.

This needs to be put into perspective that the parties who have transgressed should be punished and not the rest of them. If Stack and CCJ snuck out or lied to leave the hub then the players should be punished and not the club? Imagine the uproar if a club went crazy and locked the players down harshly.

Especially Cavill Ave. I use to work overnight in that strip and it was feral. Blood and fights all over the place. Drunks always looking for fights.

as a female it use to scare me but I soon became immune and it became the norm.

What is the point of tighter controls on AFL players anyway? Apart from politics - not seeing the risk being any different than the rest of the population in QLD, SA and WA.

As i said erlier, its a bit hypocritical of the AFL given that they have just recieved special treatment in breaking serious covid rules to enforce player/covid rules they "made up" in the first place. Suspensions are fine, as is a "standard" fine, but a 37k fine for this is ludicrous if they chose to enforce it.

No issue with the club paying 25k fine though.
