I thought it was the entire team shutting down for the last 10 or so minutes and allowing freo back in.

That and turning the ball over and over in the corridor, i don't know if its just me but the playing group seem disgruntled lots of finger pointing and baking going on.

Definitely unsettled playing group at the moment. Half regular back 6 out will do that.

Then you look at our ins to hopefully come into the team for the rest of the season (injuries permitting):
Shaw, LRT, mattner, tippett and rohan.
Rampe is doing well in AJ's spot, Mumford looks like he has a groin niggle and Mitchell may debut later on.
Lamb has got a taste of seniors.

Freo's poor kicking covered up the real issue here. We weren't in the game as much as everyone thought. They missed some seriously kickable goals in the first which would have had us 5 goals down at Q time. much like against the Hawks.

We just kicked straighter this time. We were very lucky to get close is my true feelings about tonights game. We should be grateful for 2 points.

Just a minute...we kept them to NO GOALS for more than 2 quarters!!!!!!!!

Cracking game (although my dog was at serious risk). Hopefully Walters pulls up OK,and we roll on from here. Gods I was annoyed at our kicking (although a large part of that was the pressure in our forward 50). Maybe we can play the next one over here?

I'll have to rewatch the match because I always think the umpires are against us on the day, but it may have been exacerbated by having to listen to Paul Roos barracking for the Swans all night.

Apart from Walsh who does not contribute , I thought we returned to swans shut down footy which I think serves us much better the shoot outs hanners and jpk in good form , I like us against the pies

Besides a few odd decisions which stood out it was generally ok in my opinion.

Tell the Weagles to trade your games. We've played them in WA same amount we've played you guys over there I think.

Think it was well umpired. Both supporters feel screwed so was probably about right. Agree on Roos, shouldn't commentate any of our games...

weather they are going to be long term replacements is irrelevant. For example last week the outs, from our entire squad:

• mumford
• tippett
• LRT

White needed to play to help out pyke. pyke is good, but he cant play 100% of the time.

If they turn out to be non players, well that is common, check out team lists. So many players get delisted.

I actually thought, as a back up player, white did quite well last week. we know he is not a star but if we have the outs that we had, who would you play in ruck?

walsh has played well in the seconds and we were struggling in our forward line last week. who would you have played?

We had 2 shots at goal. Freo had 6.
We kicked 4 goals in the second half.
Melbourne are kicking more than that.

Their poor kicking flattered us. They missed some sitters & hit the post a few times.

We are just a team just really out of form. Hopefully not too much damage is done before Tippett comes in.

Think I prefer spending less time on here to be honest, makes supporting more enjoyable. Sick of reading shit like this about our players and club. Maybe I ignore the bad performances too much but some of the comments about the players this year have been pathetic. As supporters we got to witness the rare experiencing of a premiership last year because of the hard work of these so called clowns/pea hearts but seems that was easily forgotten for many.

Don't mean to single you out RUNVS but just a general feel about the board this year which I'm hating. Maybe I'm overreacting.

I'll single out RUNVS because he posts overly reactive nonsense every time we drop a game.

let's face it, freo kicked themselves out of it, and in the last 15 mins we let them back in. IMO Reids mark was as big as Nic Nats goal. He shanked it, but all the freo players should've been punching through, but they didn't, and Reid snagged it, saving two points. Defalting, but could've been worse.

Think yourselves lucky. I am in the US so I wake up to this news and then have an entire day to wonder how the **** we let a 27 pt lead slip in one quarter.

I am starting to appreciate the premiership even more because they're bloody hard to win.

Our top 4 chances are on the line over the next month or so. Collingwood, Essendon, Adelaide and Port Adelaide. We need to win three of those games.
