Frost gone, Marsh gone. If Brown joins them and does leave, then you think this year our defence was horrible? Wait until next year when it will reach new heights. You need a gorilla down back to nullify the oppositions talls.

We could always move White back to defence
Haha are you kidding? He was more than terrible when he was down there that's why he was moved back forward. He should never play there.Quite a good temporary move, wasnt terrible when he was back there. Not plan A though.
the way the game is going, you only need one gorilla back on your list. And they don't have to be that good.
Hawthorn have managed to do reasonably well with only Lake (Sept only) and Spangher.
Ditto the Swans with Grundy.
the is that while not ideal, the loss of KPDs may force the coaches to come up with a better backline strategy - much like the Eagles successfully did in 2015
You were talking us up as premiership contenders a few days ago if we signed wells mayne rockliff
No way would I consider Grundy not mobileYeah. The game has changed. Much more mobile. The bulldogs this year where undersized front and back and won the flag.
Will be interesting to see if we bring in additional ready-made defenders before the end of the trading period.
We will potentially regain Keeffe (although who knows how he will go after being out of the game for some time), but may also lose Marsh, Brown and Frost.

Apart from big Boyd who was crucial up forward as a tall marking presence who possibly won them the game.

However it helps when their running backs are more superior than ours and can hit targets. Not to mention being a well drilled team, whereas ours were playing a zonal defence pointing fingers at each other.Yeah. The game has changed. Much more mobile. With Brown now gone will be lucky not to concede at least 100 points every game.We are so f@#*!
Brown is not a major loss.
Offered nothing offensively, no run, no rebound, hardly ever intercept marked. He could only really spoil non leading forwards and kick either long bombs or chip sideways/backwards. He was solid for what he did though, and will always be remembered as the guy that stopped Reiwoldt!
Doesn't Keeffe have a drug problem? Why would he be good to go?Something stinks at the club. Too many players want out every year. Hopefully keefe can still play.

Because when Keeffe gets 5 goals kicked on him he'll be gone too.No and why not
My guess is Gubby Allan is not too fussed about the fact our backline will struggle. He is gutting a list he doesn't rate and probably trying to engineer some early picks for next year's draft.
