Society & Culture Tall vs Short vs Mid Sized

It's something I have had to face in my life and I'm sure many GD'ers would have had this issue in their lives. Is it better to be tall, short or mid sized?

I myself am quite tall and in my group of friends the tallest by at least 5cm, my mates are quite short all wouldn't be more than 175 where as I am around 182. It can be a bit awkward at times looking down to talk and squeezing myself into circles of discussion.

Being short is something I have never expeirienced so I can't speak for the shorties amongst us but I assume it would have more physical detriments compared to social.

An interview with English Striker Peter Crouch really made me think after he was asked what he would be if not a footballer. His reply was a "virgin" which at the time I though was quite funny but can you be too tall?

The mid sized people (171 - 185) can fit in pretty much anywhere and I think that is an ideal height but I'm not sure at all and being a paranoid person want to get GD's opinion.

What is the ideal height?

This includes anything really sport, socially even picking up women.

Short (150cm - 170cm)
Mid Sized (171cm - 185cm)
Tall (186cm+)

I'm 178cm, so on your scale midsized. Compared to my mates I am shortish.

Would prefer to be taller, particularly seeing as my Girlfriend is only a few cm shorter than me (probably 1cm shorter )
She will never wear heels out when I'm with her because she thinks she looks too tall, which is disappointing cos she has good legs and wearing heels would make teh guise fap (no pics)

Yeah I fear of growing too tall so I wouldn't want to be over 195cm when I am older.
