Don't see Jobe doin enough to be your starting M4.
I hope for his sake I'm wrong.I'd be looking to give him the flick.
what do you see Keefe averaging? Have not considered him at all.

Pure cash cow and will make an easy 150-200k IMO than upgrade him when he peaks for a Premo.

Jobe i am taking a punt at the $$$ and he will be motivated heaps this season and looks very sharp from all training reports and fully fit, have to have a few risks here and there and if they come off it is what separates you from the pack.

Jobe can score well..

...105-110 max I reckon...could do worse.
if he goes the other way though ya done.big call on a guy who hasn't played for a year and some have thought he might lost some love for the game.
All the Bomber stuff from last year would have to take some toll on him.Could spend more time up FWD this year too...
good luck with him.hope he kills it!..has been a great player and deserves to be respected by the AFL community.

Main concern for mine is the volume of players either returning from injury or suspension in Ryder, Swallow, Beams, Heppell, Fyfe, murphy, rough and Sandi. Could pay off due to being under priced, but unlikely to get 22 games from all the above. Really like the Riewoldt pick. Wish I had the balls to take him.

this.

dont see why you need balls to pick Riewoldt. 14/15 were downish years, but has always been that 95+ player. best fwd easily IMO

18k left over, liking the look of this set up for now.

Not digging the backline this year, a lot of just good solid picks, nothing really screaming out at me. Laird is the only one that's made every version, has ranged from D1-D3
Simpson was scoring tonnes regardless of who he played last year, Bolton's game plan saw him score more prolifically and remarkably durable + POD. Could be Docherty but with only one premo year behind him, and a tendency to score better against the better sides has made Simpson the better option IMO considering Blues have a pretty cushy draw pre-byes.
Monty is another gun with a great history, will back him to get off to a flyer. Have always had a soft spot for the Saints, having Monty gives me even more of a reason to watch them from time to time.

Gonna go in with a strong midfield from round 1, which everyone seems to be going with this year. No room for midpricers, 5 rookies should be enough for good cash generation.
Think all 6 starting premos are capable of 115 or greater averages and viable captain options.

Gawndilands, Gawn is a step ahead of all other rucks imo and Sandi is just too good of a value pick to pass up.

Dahl and Macrae are two of the safest picks you can make IMO, think Macrae will be #1 at the end of the year and hopefully by then people can start spelling his name right...
I'll be going with Ryder regardless of who I take in the rucks, just think he's a great pick, will score well as long as Ken never allows Lobbe to play another AFL game.

Rookies are placeholders but chucked in some of the more expensive ones, hopefully they'll be able to be downgraded when round 1 finally gets here!

In complete contrast to my midpricer team, this is my guns and rookies attempt. 6k left in the bank. (Rookies are placeholders until teams are released)

Age the only concern for me. Will probably average 100 again and end up in my team sometime, but very reluctant to start him. Been tempted in starting him, but more a wait and see I feel.

Compare Roos home to away scoring.

If u want him start him.

His away record, especially in SA is horrid

Great team and a bit different to most lists, especially structurally. D4 and F4 appear slightly thin but the extra premo mid and Gawn make up for it. Big fan of the McCluggage and PS picks. I'm also not digging the backline this year either - too many mid priced risks. Monty and Simpson selection a solid POD.

Just saw the draw. Lots of Etihad. hmmm, might upgrade Macrae
Definitely more of a starter than an upgrade target given the amount of early games at ES. Locked in my side at the moment and it certainly looks good. He has always performed better in a better St Kilda team and they look the up.

Been sitting on this sort of structure for a while now, mainly tinkering with FWD/DEF premiums. 22k in the bank.

Here's my current team. Minimal injury risk, not selecting any breakout players - only proven.

Beams / Sandi / Roughy IMO are all far too good to pass up at their price, but that's nothing you haven't heard before. Actually managed to use up my entire salary cap for this, so $0 remaining which is always a nice look :drunk:

Anyway I'll get down to my analysis on selections.

Defenders :

Doch / Shaw / Laird - there are the top 3 defenders on points this year. Doch and Shaw in a league of their own last year, and Laird has more to give. I think he will explode with Adelaides nice early run. Hoping Scharenberg gets a run early, otherwise Keeffe will take that spot who I'm fairly sure is going to play from R1. Hampton hasn't left my side as a rookie placeholder, and I'm hopeful he can get a gig from R1 as well. Newman is a placeholder, but quietly hoping he gets a guernsey also.

Midfielders :

First 4 need no explanation, nor does Beams, and really I don't think Tom Mitchell does either. Begging to be released in to a piggish role this year. Also heard Luke Hodge say that Tom Mitchell is one of the most competitive stoppage players he's ever trained with. Really struggling to see the downside with that selection given the opportunity that has opened up there. Rookies are standard.

Rucks :

Standard. No need to explain.

Forwards :

Dahl + Macrae pretty standard, can see them both being excellent starting calls as both have solid standard deviation. Wingard is value. 2 seasons of 22 games @ 98 average is hard to look passed for me, especially given the slim pickings for keepers down forward. Also young as all hell, and seemingly quite durable if he doesn't get KO'd. Hoping he averages at least 95, and can play a full season and be my F5-6. Rookies are standard.

Have at it people, would love to hear some constructive criticism and positive thoughts.

AARON Sandilands’ trouble-free pre-season has hit a late snag thanks to a calf strain which will rule him out of the start of the JLT Community Series.

A club spokesman said Sandilands would train with the rehabilitation group for the next three to five weeks

Does Sandi calf strain change many sides on here...
For me it does, I'm going to go Sandi-less from here on

210cm tall, weighs 110+ kgs, and he's 34 years old

Gets a calf strain rucking against scrubs in training; not a good sign

If he recovers well and is plays some preseason matches and comes into round 1 feeling good, I might slot him back in
