i wouldnt have both JJ and Bob in my backline. If you look into JJ's scoring last year, he really only scored well at Etihad and when he impacted the result of the game in the last 5 minutes. I personally, wouldnt trust him to average more than 95 IMO. Bob is capped at 90, which isnt enough for a top 10 defender.I am actually really quite happy with this for a first draft! Thoughts?!
Webb? the guy who played 3 or 4 games last year? interesting choice to say the least.FYI - Have just gone JJ > Rance, Macrae to FWD, Beams and Miller out, and brought hanneberry and webb to mids. lol.
Hodge is a no for me - dont think he will play more than 16-18 games and he wont average enough to be a top 10 defenderfirst draft, opinions anyone ?![]()

i personally would have got rid of Bob and Watson and found cash for 2 mid premos.
one or two of WHE/McCluggage/Ainsworth to Rioli/Eddy/other cheap rook
Cameron to Strnadica
Webb to premo
Anybody with ryder as R2 will likely cop a donut when port adelaide have the bye. Dont forget to factor that in
Pretty sure if you started Ryder in the rucks you would of moved him to F4/5/6 and traded in the best ruckman in the land by then, if not your doing it wrong.Wouldn't be starting Ryder in the ruck. Likely no cover for ports Bye.
Fair call - how about Webb to OMeara, Hoskin Elliot to Eddy, and Bob to ??? ($460k to go)
Already done cameron to Strnadica

No, put Ryder in the fwds and get Goldie in the ruck, Ruck Coverage is good.by round 9 eg ryder could make me enough money to bring in goldy, but still short for ruck cover. early days

Look on the bright side. Gawnstein is $12,500 cheaper than last season. Here are a couple of things worth pondering:
-> The Gawn/Goldy Double Whammy Selection in the Rucks:
$1,233,400.
Take a good look at that ^, because that's what you're paying to start Goldy and Gawn together. Gawn went ballistic last year and with the recision of the third-man-up rule, he could sustain those crazy numbers given that he led the HTA %. If you do start both of them, best of luck to you. I am mildly afraid that Gawn will improve on last year and go absolutely huge.
As I said, it might be that I am completely wrong, that Gawn smashes the HTA record, obliviates the competition and then attains apotheosis along with a place next to Odin in Valhalla. But its food for thought.
I don't really get the Lloyd selection.
Just on JOM, for anyone interested, some media outlets have reported that he isn't travelling that well. However on radio in Melbourne earlier this week, Garry Lyon reported that from what he has heard, JOM is absolutely flying. Unlike Garry to put something out there unless his mail is pretty solid. Not JOM, won't start until at least Round 4 from all reports
I'd go Ainsworth to Rioli
Bob to KK/Vlastuin
Webb to best available
And work from there
