I would expect our final bench to be Armfield, Betts, Cloke, Wiggins. I'd wait 1 more week before bringing in Bower, and none of Armfield, Cloke or Wiggins deserve to be dropped for Bentick. If Betts doesn't come up from the injury then expect either Saddington to keep his spot, or Bower to come in.

Interesting to see that McIntosh wasn't named.

Gee its going to be a weird one. Surely neither Armfield nor Wiggins will be dropped. And Eddie will play if deemed fit. That leaves Cloke vs. Bower. Surely they wouldn't drop Cloke and leave Hampson and Kreuze on their own yet?

Interesting because Bower was a walk up start before his injury, so there may be a surprise somewhere. How Russell escapes the extended bench, let alone being dropped, is beyond me.

Ratten loves Wiggins so he'll play.

Armfield will play after last weeks performance.

I really would expect Bower to play. Saddington out.

If Betts is fit then perhaps Cloke could get the cut this week. Hasn't been in the greatest of form recently.

Bower has had two weeks back in the Ants aparently, and normally I would have thought he would be straight in for Saddo........but there is no point only bringing Saddo up for one week.

Betts in ............for ?

Both Browne and Army were good last week, and would be unlucky to miss...........

Will be an interesting call.

Because the match committee know more about football than a poster on BigFooty.

How about we have some faith in the club?

They've only won twice as many games as we won last year, yet supporters still have to ask stupid questions and post trash.

I think Wiggins might be under the pump this week if Eddie is fit.

Betts could kick us two or three in a quarter and a bit, whilst Wiggins is an honest toiler.

I hope I'm wrong, but my gut tells me Eddie won't pass a fitness test.

.............

Saddington will get dropped for Bower.

Not sure these two statements match.

Why drop Aussie for Saddo for only one week?

Surely if Saddo was brought in last week to do anything it was to try and save his career..........and one week hardley seems fair.

I found the Saddo selectioon last week very strange........I will find it twice as strabge if he is dropped after one game where he wasn't too bad.

Because Austin needs more development and Bower was a week away.

Nothing wrong with picking Saddington when we won by eleven goals. ;)

Must I explain everything to you?

The Crows are still playing that hack Massie. :D

Hey General. Why don't you piss off. Have a think about my past posts before you accuse me of posting trash.

This must be one of the most hypocritical posts I've ever seen. Wiggins under the pump, an honest toiler? Surely the match commitee know more about Wiggo than you do. Eddie won't pass the fitness test? Why don't we leave that up to the fitness experts. Bower is a week away? Why don't we leave that up to the match committee mate.

I'd drop Fisher and Saddington for Betts and Bower. Not very fair on Saddo who I think did a fine job, but Bower is an a-grader for us going forward and Saddo is going to get moved on this year or the next.

Betts will not play, still not training with the group...
Will just be the one change, Bower for Saddo

VERY interesting week ahead for some players. If Houla and Hadley get through and play reasonable games, would have to think BOTH would come back in (specially houla)...

All I can say is I'm glad I'm not the one who has to make the calls on who goes and who stays. Tuff gig this match committee stuff.

However, what it does point to is some depth which is really something we haven't had for ages, so as much as it's interesting wondering who will stay, who deserves to go, it's still great that a portion of the developing talent are all worthy of a spot in the starting line-up.:thumbsu:

Eddie is without doubt in our best 22. He will play - bookmark it.

IN: Bower, Betts
OUT: Saddington......Wiggins?

Wiggins has done nothing to be dropped though. I would have assumed Browne would have gone for Eddie?
