Essendon
For years Essendon has been dominated by the mighty H’s lead by the trio of Hooker, Hurley and Heppell with a strong supporting cast of Hocking, Howlett, Hibberd, Hartlett and so on.

But now it appears like it could be the dawning of a new era at Essendon. The M’s have been quietly restocking their talent over the last few years and appear ready to make an assault on the crown. Boasting speedsters like McGrath, McKenna, McDonald Tipungwuti and the irrepressible Merrett.

Then you have the Johnny-come-lately. Team S which went out on a massive recruiting spree and picked up Stringer, Saad and Smith to appear as a contender out of nowhere. Not a bad effort from a team that only boasted Stewart on the list.

Which of these mighty teams is the best?

Replace hunter at FB with Henneman. Mark harvey was an AA halfback as well.

Hardwick Henneman Hartley
Harvey Hurley Hibberd

Thats a fairly decent backline

Harvey was also a very good forward. There aren't that many good forwards as Hs, thus Hooker and Harvey have been named as forwards, and Hird CHF instead of on ball.

I obviously never saw Hunter play, but his 109 games at fb, premiership player, vc, 4 times in the state team are well ahead of anything that Henneman, Hartley or Hamilton did. Hunter stays. I'm more than happy to replace Hartley with Henneman though.

Oh, and I think my Hs beat your Ms ;)

Lol. I thought you neant 0 gamer Hal Hunter. My bad.

I lack KPD depth but have 3 state representative ruckman. Madden at chf led essendon in goalkicking before lloyd. I am in this game up to my neck.
