Assistant Fremantle coach Peter German rated Farmer as only a 50-50 chance to play.

"I am not sure about Jeff, he could struggle this week to come up," German told Perth radio.

"We will give him to the very end, we play on Sunday so that gives us an opportunity with the extra day.

"But, Jeff, we know is so important ... hopefully he will come up, but at the moment he is 50-50."

Farmer limped off during last week's loss to Sydney and although being cleared of any tear, did not join team-mates in Wednesday's training session at Fremantle Oval.

The injury is the latest setback in Farmer's 'annus horribilis', which began with his six-week ban for the gouge on Pratt and continued with another lengthy suspension from the club for a nightclub fight.

We just get him back and loose him straight away, ****ing hell.

Re: Round 15 Teams

Hmmmmz
Maybe Ibbo could've got a game. Is Farmer going to be fit enough to play.
That snitch scumbag Pratt is playing on Sunday for the Roo's as well.

Re: Round 15 Teams

Guys

Is there any reason why Hasleby is named on a 7 man IC bench (I've got him in my super coach team :thumbsu:)?

Cheers,

Cheers,
Maybe it has something to do with him not getting a touch in the 2nd and 3rd Quaters, i heard that stat on the radio or something, but if it isnt true he had a shocker anyway.

Come on IP, you weren't seriously expecting CC to act against his own best interests? IMO the changes he has made will give us our best chance of winning on Sunday.

If we had of brought in Ibbo, Foster and Duffman then it would be a fairly good indicator that we are tanking for picks and CC is sick of coaching freo.

You think? Because we've done so well using the existing philosophy, CC's job is as safe as houses...

CCs chances of employment at freo next year would be even worse if he starts making dramatic changes in players and tactics. He has taken years to build this team and style, unfortunately he %$&#@ it up. I think that it is going to take more than a couple of gestures at selection time to turn things around.

What a fu*king joke at selection.

In: Murphy, Gilmore, Crowley, Walker
Out: Carr (flu), Schammer, Mundy, Parker

Why the hell would they drop Schammer??? Surely he will come in as the Wizz will go out.

****ing joke, out Schammer in Gilmore and Walker? Connolly really doesn't want his job anymore, what's the rationale behind this?

At least it;s good to see Matt Carr gobe even if it's only with flu.

What exactly has Scham done wrong here? He sits on the bench and than is sit in a position he isnt comfortable with on the HBF. Play the guy in the middle CC you fat tub of goo.

This is about the last straw for me.......... sack this moron now.

That does actually piss me off, I don't know why Schammer is dropped. What use will Gilmore provide us with? SERIOUSLY? Unless there are doubts over Sandi or Warnock? What effective role could he play?

I really can't wait for Walker's 14 boring disposals.

Happy with the inclusions of Murphy and Walker. Crowley hasnt warranted a return yet but has to come in with Carr out. Mundy being dropped annoys me aswell, Parker fair enough should have happened a week ago.

But dropping Byron Schammer is an absolute joke and an embarrasment to the match commitee, if he hadn't just re-signed he would be leaving aswell.

MCarr out. Good. Finally. Shame it's from illness rather than recognising his poor form.
Parker out. Good. Sorry Old Man. Father Time is a cruel master.
Mundy out. Can see the rational behind it - make him want it and earn it. Good.
Schammer out. WTF??? :thumbsd:

Murphy in. Good - time to show he wants it and belongs.
Crowley in. OK - had a couple of excellent WAFL games to earn his spot back.
Walker in. Hmmmm not sold, but has earnt a shot - this time he has to fire on all cylinders.
Gilmore in. WTF?? Sandi and Nockers both playing... What's his role? Why not get some more run in Schammer's legs?

Gilmore may get a run with role. The guy has endurance to burn and a long boot. Could hurt the opposition in the opposite direction. Possibly more than M.Carr.

Do you think so gauci? Gilmore does have some good qualities - pace, endurance, long kicking.... but I would have thought he has the defensive capabilities of a gnat.

I didn't think Scham deserved to be dropped. Perhaps they have more insight on the match ups with the Roos than us plebs to.

The proof will be on the scoreboard Sunday evening.
