Andrew Carrazzo has been playing very well for us throughout the season. A couple of weeks ago for some unknown reason Pagan dropped him to the VFL. Carrazzo racked up 51 posessions, an unbelievable effort. He was overlooked for the team to play the Eagles today and instead Banister and Russel were promoted. While I was extremely impressed with Russels performence and Banister was OK when he was on I am struggling to understand how Pagan could overlook a regular senior player coming off 51 disposals. What are your thoughts on this? Should Carrazzo have played?

after being smashed about for most of the year, we nearly beat one of the best teams in the comp. surely the selections were spot on?
anyway, Corazzo was most likely left out because he got himself suspended the week before. How did he go this weekend? I hope he had another blinder.

Houlihan was still in the side today so the selections definately weren't spot on. Hopefully he will get suspended for that elbow to the head and we won't have to worry about him next game.

i think Houla has been crap and weak for the last few weeks, but today he was good and tough. knocked Rosa out and laid a few good tackles. still he was soft at times.
Agree, was amazed to see Houla lay that bump. Was one of our better players.as0l0 said:

Don't believe the selections were spot on and even if we won this would not have proved they were. I believe we should have played Carazzo and McLaren. Personally I think Bentick needs to go back for a bit. Just seems too slow and at this stage is not skilled enough to make up for it.
Also think Houlihan was one of the biggest improvers today especially in the second half. The bump and a couple of turns back in to play with left foot passes was very instictive and very valueable for the club. The guy has undoubted ability and if he gets his head clear this is what he is able to do.
