He thinks Tex shouldn't play - fair enough - but the way he is hysterically crapping on about it all day yesterday and today you'd think Tex did his knee 2 weeks ago.

I don't think Tex needs the extra pressure of the most respected Crows mouthpiece in SA talking about stats on re-injuring ACLs. Just shut up Roo.
does he realize that unlike a lot of others Tex has also waited the whole 12 months??

Roo needs to shut up. He is bordering on hyperbolic this week.

Agree, I turned off triple m today because Roo was pissing me off with the hysteria about NOTHING. Stats from the 90's **** off it's 14 years ago mate.

Usually I agree with most things Roo says but today was a joke, he is plain wrong and very stubborn about it too.

If anything, the hysteria he creates from this rubbish puts a seed of doubt in Tex mind, heck off Tex is confident then he is good to go. The reason re-injury happens is psychological a lot of the time.

Risk of re injury is no different from sanfl to afl... You still jump as high when play in a lower league.

I would hate tex to go down again but i cant see much difference whether he plays A's or B's...
But im just a dude posting on an internet forum

Its not about risk of injury, just form...you wouldnt think Tex has to prove his form to get in the side

Melbourne may not have the polish and quality but their competitiveness under Roos is a whole new ball game from them..
Underestimate that and run around expecting a soft day and, well....
Well, hate to say I told you so..

I hope all those counting what an easy soft game this was going to be enjoyed it today.. ;)

“I’ve been here for six or seven months now and I haven’t seen a key forward work as hard as he does in the gym or out on the track,’’ Podsiadly said.

“Credit to him: his movement tonight was phenomenal. I know that he was probably a bit fumbly but that’s the least of his worries, really.

“He’s one of the guys that the young guys look up to and his moving, being aggressive and drawing the ball ... you see the younger guys poking their chests out.’’
